So, apparently Garth Ennis started a new series in February, and after the first six issues, he's passed writing duties to Al Ewing.

I like Garth Ennis, I like Al Ewing, and I like the concept here. So, anyone read this? Is it worth picking up?

(By the way, Ennis mentions something about strong women in comics in the first linked page that I suspect is controversial. I'll make a separate thread for that, so kindly refrain from discussing it here).

I see the Awesomeness.
I've read most of it. Pretty good if you like The Punisher, same basic concept.
I've read the first three issues, which is all that's come out so far, since the artist is apparently slow, despite also being mediocre in talent. I was thinking "Desperate Housewives meets The Punisher", but Ennis came up with a better X Meets Y in "Weeds meets The Punisher". Obviously, I'm interested in it for the potential brutal violence of the punisher half. Unfortunately, that's been underwhelming. Ennis calls it an "action comedy" in his CBR interview. I think it could use more of both. It's too damn talky, just like The Boys. Maybe the new writer won't have that problem.

Well, given the events of the last one, the shit might be hitting the fan.

I also dislike the art style. I've never liked the non-realism style. I dislike the most recent Punisher MAX titles as well.
The system doesn't know you right now, so no post button for you.
You need to Get Known to get one of those.
