Samus: Trust me. Despite what happened today, we're nowhere near that bad. It's actually a rare exception that someone does something that...outlandish.

Jim: Well, most of my new co-workers seem nice at least.

Samus: They are for the most part, yeah.

Haken: Er tell you the truth we never really got to it. It might have had something to do with a genetically modified creature I wanted analyzed by the crew, but Samus and I discussed other things because I felt like I was of no use to the crew and was considering quitting.

Jim: Hey, am I allowed to customize my quarters?

Samus: Certainly.

Amaya : And some one like Donna or Twilight is useful to the crew how? As long as your not activly trying to get us killed, your probaly good.

Although personally, I would recommend euthanizing dangerous animals before bringing them for study.

Jim: Oh neat. Mostly want a stereo. >.>

Samus: As long as it won't blow up, get whatever you want.

Haken: So I guess it's less 'probation' and more 'Samus wants me to take a break so I can cool my head and not do something I'll regret'.

After the very least she allowed me to suggest a temporary replacement to take my place, and since he's expressed interest in joining this can function as his evaluation.
