You don't really make out what Albert is telling you, too petrified by fear. Then you hear the sound of the creature coming through the wall, and gulp. You keep running, and take a moment to look behind you at the monstrosity as you run down the stairs.

You misjudge one of the steps, and start tumbling down those spiral staircases, yelping in pain each time

~oh dear, Katia just hurt herself by falling down all these stairs (despite previous warnings)~

~go figure~

-Haken decides to fall back and fires off another beam cannon blast at thrax trying to knock him off the stairs-

-And so Six returns the flaming book to the bookshelf-

Six: <Guys, lure this bastard into the living room! I've got an idea!>

-She inserts it into the bookshelf-

-Then hides behind it-

(Joshua assists Haken by firing at Thrax.)

~well Haken, good news and bad news~

~good news is, you succeed with your attack and hit Thrax, who is sent tumbling down right after Katia, taking quite a bit of blunt damage from the stairs~

~about halfway down, he manages to catch himself and immediately comes climbing back up, heading straight for you~

~bad news is, you succeed with your attack and hit Thrax, causing you to feel the impact force of a beam cannon on yourself as well, likely breaking a rib or two~

~same goes for Joshua~

-haken coughs up some blood but as of current thats a triviality to him-

Haken: COME ON! THAT THE BEST YOU GOT YOU PUSSY! IT ONLY SHATTERED ONE OF MY RIBS AND IT SENT YOU DOWN THE STAIRS!

-Haken starts dashing back to the living room-

(Joshua coughs up some blood.)

Joshua: What he said, pantywaist!

-Makes a molotov cocktail out of moonshine-

After falling down a flight or two, you manage to catch yourself, but you're heavily bruised and battered. Unfortunate that no one had warned you... you get up, and look upwards at that thing. Figures, you think to yourself. Figures that you couldn't even handle running away from a fight properly. And you're not even any closer to safety. At least you managed not to break anything.

You wonder how that thing is even deflecting attacks. You look around, wondering if there's anything, anything at all you can use.

~well, there is still the crate with all these weird potions in the storage room, since it happened to survive the explosion earlier~

Threx: ~lets out another blood-curling screech and comes running up the stairs, right at Haken and Joshua~

(Joshua blows a raspberry at Thrax, which is ruined by the shattered ribs, and runs up the stairs.)

-haken gets into the living room and pretty much slides across the floor-

Haken: <Ok six, i'm in the god damn room, what next?>

You keep running away from Threx, remembering the storage room. You manage to find it pretty fast, and come face to face with a bunch of potions. You start to rifle through them and look for anything that might be useful.

Six: Get him near the bookshelf!

-by now the bookshelf is noticeably on fire-

~the potions are each five potions of five different colors (Red, Blue, Green, Black and White), all of them bearing the Phyrexian Symbol and each color having a different secondary symbol on the opposite side of the bottle~

~Threx runs after Haken and lunges into the room, trying to impale him on his spear-like claw~

(Joshua nods and moves next to the bookcase. Joshua taunts Threx again.)

-Lights cocktail from the fire that's from the bookshelf-

Haken: FOCUS!

-Haken's muscles for just a split second increase in strength and give him the ability to leap out of the way so that Threx stabs the ground-

> Grab the damn potions

You decide to get the red ones. Anything with fire written on it has to be useful, right? You take one in each hand, and set one into a makeshift pack. As you catch your breath, you hear the commotion outside and gulp. Well, you're certainly a lot safer here, but... you could never forgive yourself if he manages to hurt one of them... but what can you do? You're nothing but a little lost cat with no combat experience, only two spells, and no weapons. And even your spells aren't working.

...

Well, there is one thing. You limp up the stairs, bottles in hand. Time to see what these things do.

-Carefully sneaks up to Threx and throws cocktail at Threx-

~Threx strikes the floor near the shelf, and is hit by the molotov cocktail, catching fire~

~...sadly, Albert now also feels the sensation of being doused in flames, ouch~

-And so Six pushes the shelf at Threx-

-Heavily enough that it'll reach him-

-But lightly enough that it won't hit him-

-It'll just touch him-

-And that may have a chance of setting him on fire, due to the bookshelf's current status of "being on fire"-

Albert: You know, just feeling like you are on fire, isn't as bad as actually being on fire.

~good point Albert, but those blisters and burns appearing on your skin sure seem real~

~Threx starts flailing around angrily at Albert, hitting the bookshelf in the process~

~now he is double on fire, and even more angrier~

~he starts flailing with all his limbs: Claws, tentacles and tails at once, trying to hit whomever he can in the room~

~oh, and Katia makes it up the stairs no problem, yeah~
