Joshua: @Six: Y-yeah. Which way are we heading down, then?

Six: ...Hrm.

I suppose I could open both doors, and provided nothing spooky pops out, we could decide where to go after the fact.

-haken gives a thumbs up to that idea-

Joshua: Sounds like a plan, Six.

(Joshua also gives Six a thumbs up.)

Mitch: Alright. We're gonna need to stack up on the doors. Haken, Joshua, what're you carrying for weapons?

Joshua: Well, I've got my trusty pistol and sanjiegun, Mitch.

Haken: Longtomb revolver, nightfowl assault rifle, explosive playing cards

Mitch: Alright...

Joshua, you're with me, right side.

Haken, left side.

Six, I give the signal, open the door. If it's locked, punch it in.

-Six nods-

-Haken moves over to the left side and gets both his guns ready-

(Joshua readies his pistol and heads over to the right side.)

-Mitch heads over to the right side-

Mitch: Alright. If we have to move in, Joshua, go first and sweep the right of the room. Haken, you go next and sweep left. That way you'll keep each other covered.

Go for it.

-And so Six tries to open the door-

Joshua: Got it, Mitch.

(Joshua nods.)

-Haken just nods his head-

Haken: Focus.

~once the door is opened, two things can immediately be noticed by the group despite the area being not lit: the smell of machine oil and a faint music playing from a corner of the room the door leads into~

~there appears to be a switch right next to the door~

-Six and Mitch scan the room for enemies-

-With their flashlights, mind-

(Joshua waits for Mitch to finish his scan.)

~there don't appear to be any enemies in the room, but there is some sort of table(?) in the middle with a non-moving small figure lying on it~

-Figuring the switch is a light switch, Mitch flips it on-

-haken sweeps the room before moving to investigate the table-

(Joshua slowly approaches the table.)

Mitch flips the switch, turning on the lights,
the chamber is bathed in red and green bright.
In addition to that, the music is turned up
the song currently playing might be recognized, yup.

The room seems to be intended for operations and stuff
although the current patient must have had it rough.
One of the myrs is strapped to the table ahead
but his current condition makes it clear he is dead.
Its ribcage of metal, it's pryed wide open
its arms and legs are bent, shattered and broken.

The Myr's chest is empty, its insides extracted
it's not fun to imagine, how it must have reacted.
In their stead, the Myr is connected to tubes
probably used to pump it full with things like oils and lubes.

Either way though, the Myr is everything else but alive
and he certainly won't dance to the Jingle Bell Jive.

-You may or may not want to roll for SAN loss-

Six: Oh god... is that...

Nova : ...

-...Screw it-

-It's a tiny, helpless little thing that got tortured to death-

-Roll 1d6 for SAN loss-

Mitch: ...Jesus Christ.
