I was thinking he sounded familiar, and that was my first guess but I was too lazy to look it up in the credits. Well, technically I thought he sounded like Senjougahara's father, and I knew that he was supposedly the same as Gendou.

The plot's progressing but I dunno where it's going, hahaha.

I agree, I think the penguins are possibly the best part of the show and I'm looking forward to what happens next. Does anybody else think we should create a 'Funny' (if that's the right word for it) page, as it seems as there will be plenty of moments, and so it's best to start early while there are few episodes.

No talk of the new episode? How curious. Damnit Izaak. The plot continues to advance with leaps and bounds as Shoma actually gets to read the Future Diary, but if the next episode preview is to be taken literally it looks like he's going to piss all their work away.

And it astounds me to learn that Himari is apparently Miho Arakawa's debut role, with an ethereal voice like that you'd think she'd been long since pigeonholed by the industry.

Jesus christ this episode was bad. Not enough penguins, too much Ringo being retarded and annoying.

Heh, using a penguin as a candlestick so that the flashback has appropriate mood lighting.

What was up with the Picture Drama-styled sequences? I was amused when I saw the first one, but after watching the rest of Ringo's fantasies in that style, I was really sick of it. They weren't like this in the last episode, so why now?

For two reasons really.

1. The main character (Sho) is now closer to Ringo, so we get to see her fantasy first hand.

2. There was no Rock over Japan transformation scene so they needed the fill the episode with something different.

Also Yuri is part of a theater troup that is Totally-not-Takarazuka-really-we-swear, which is why they did the flashbacks like that, and why in them Tabuki looked like a guy dressed as a girl dressed as a guy.

And seriously guys, its Ikuhara, don't expect things to be done for actual reasons.

I thought it was pretty obvious that Himari was a debut role. The first time I heard her voice, I was like "Wow, that's a unique new voice that I've never heard before, I like it". And then later it became obvious that she's rather new/unskilled at this voice acting business. I mean, her voice definitely has potential, she just needs more control and range.

^Yeah, her fantasies became like that this episode because she saw that Takarazuka advertisement on the train.

God, that ending. WHAT THE HELL, RINGO?

I want to know what the hell was up with that ending too. I've never liked Ringo but that was one push too far.

Also, was I the only one who got the "apple jam" innuendo?

Yeah, Ringo was creepy enough as a stalker girl, but going out of her way (or I suppose it's just destiny, in her POV) to push the girl down the escalator was exceedingly so.

It's so narmy, but I love the random English "Fabulous Maaa~x!" lines.

Actually I don't even think we're supposed to. It seemed glaringly obvious that it was the one who dmysta 3000 linked to, or at least someone connected to her somehow.

So, I was looking at screenshots earlier and noticed that The Hat (Princess of the Crystal) has pink/purple eyes and the pink haired person in the OP also has pink eyes, probably not related but I thought there could be on. Likewise, the black penguin in the opening (which I've heard people call "penguin zero") I wonder if that is what is possessing Himari, any thoughts?

Certainly, it makes no sense, given how Ringo's been portrayed thus far, for her to murder somebody in cold blood based solely on the fact that the victim was mentioned in her diary.

I mean, if her diary had said 'today, I killed some girl!', that would be one thing, but it didn't.
