Aaaaaaand it has been taken down as expected.
What was in the leak?
TV ad. Full trailer is going to be at the conference.
When is the conference?
I just realized, if Emily gets to use the Heart that's gonna be weird as hell, even weirder than when Corvo was using it.
Hitokiri in the streets, daishouri in the sheets. The heart is coming back so prepare for awkwardness.
That has to be odd and awkward as hell, holding what is clearly your mother's pilfered and magicked heart to guide you.
Hitokiri in the streets, daishouri in the sheets.Dishonored 2 is looking like it'll be great from the gameplay trailer.
So they confirmed that Corvo was Emily's father after having her with the Empress. Is the otherworldly usurper another witch, I wonder? I doubt the Outsider would care about a tiny collection of islands.
So, the main characters actually have voices and personalities now. That can only be a good thing, because that was a massive factor that kept me from becoming immersed in the first game's story. Also, Corvo sounds like he gargles with gravel, but what else do you expect from the guy?
The gameplay looks good. Looks like Dishonored, really, which is all we can ask for. And, unusually, it actually looks like it could be legit. Especially the bit where she grabs the guy, obviously tries to throw him off the ledge, can't do it, and just goes "ah, fuck it" and shoots him. In the butt.
(Yes, #SheShotHimOnTheAnus is now a hashtag. The Internet works fast.)
"We'll take the next chance, and the next, until we win, or the chances are spent."I love seeing all of those amazing superpowers that I'll never use because I'm a good person.
(Except for my obligatory asshole run)
Well, from the sound of it they'll be refining the morality system quite a bit for this game, so there's hope yet for a broader avenue of approach for good playthroughs.
That Domino power is a great idea, incidentally. Something tells me players are going to be coming up with some pretty ingenious uses for that.
"We'll take the next chance, and the next, until we win, or the chances are spent."Indeed. I wonder if there's a limit to it to prevent you from knocking out every guard in a mile radius.
There's almost certainly going to be a limit on how many targets you can affect at once, and I'd predict a range limit as well. Both of which can probably be upgraded.

"We'll take the next chance, and the next, until we win, or the chances are spent."The limit is four guards at a time.

I find it interesting how the Outsider, who's generally known to be neutral towards unfolding events, takes a more active role in what appears to be him saving Emily from falling into the Void.
Hitokiri in the streets, daishouri in the sheets.@The Librarian: The otherworldly usurper is Delilah Copperspoon from the Knife of Dunwall and the Brigamore Witches DLC for the original Dishonored.

Did they reveal anything about Corvo's gameplay, coz so far all the footage is of Emily. The original announcement mentioned she and Corvo would be playable.
Corvo will have the same powers as he did in the first Dishonored, but you'll be able to enhance/change them with the skill trees.
Since no one actually posted the trailer:
They've changed how most of his skillset works, I believe. His blink was changed to be more like Daud's with the timestopping ability, wasn't it? And if I recall the vision ability was changed to more of a radar thing.
Hitokiri in the streets, daishouri in the sheets. His abilities have gotten better over time which is why they have extra or improved capabilities. I think I saw a glimpse of him briefly in the ad with his old mask on. Could be wrong though....
