This one is a non-fighting game so they can get the Mouse House's approval for putting the Kingdom Hearts characters in a Dissidia.
So, do you guys think Theatrythem will have Voice Acting ?
A sample of 3Ds audio.

I'm sure it will. The games 2D, but other 2d games have Voice Acting.
I'm curious as to what your opinions are.

I just heard about this from Game Informer! I think it sounds like a great rhythm game (with Final Fantasy music, at that) and the characters look really cute. A 3DS game that's new AND interesting to me?! This Cannot Be!!
@Sirnoob: Your avatar wins the Internet.
I liked it better when Questionable Casting was called WTH Casting AgencyThe disappointing thing is that this is likely the FF for the 3DS and not another FFT v_v.
The DS itself had six FF titles that I can think of off the top of my head, so I don't see why this would preclude another FFT
Besides, the first FF title for the DS was a friggin' Chocobo game.
As in, one of the Chocobo's Dungeon games? Did it come out in America?
Personally, I think that, in addition to Theatrhythm, the 3DS needs to get V and VI 3D, as well as another Tactics game. Perhaps this time around, they can implement the Transmuter class, and bring back Morphers.
I have a message from another time...@omamus:
I will only support Voice acting for this game if the characters sing along to the songs. *imagines Jecht singing Real Emotion*
I would buy five copies if that happened.
^^^ Yes. Mid-2007, actually.

"so I don't see why this would preclude another FFT "
Yeah, but Nintendo only listed one FF title from SE at the 3DS's debut.
I think Chocobo Racing was the other one.
Some new news.

I love Final Fantasy and I love rhythm games, ergo, I am really really looking forward to this.
Corgis are a Welsh bread. I'm delicious.Theatrhythm Final Fantasy now has a page. Please help edit it.
It seems to me that SE wants to experiment with different genres for "Dissida successors". If that's true, I really wonder what else they will come up with.
Although I doubt that they will beat this one in the WTF-factor.

People aren't as awful as the internet makes them out to be.Unless they make a Dissidia Dating-sim.....
If anything, I think they wouldn't make one about Final Fantasy, but about Kingdom Hearts, more precisely about Organization XIII, to cash-in on the yaoi fangirls. So, nearly the entire KH fanbase.
People aren't as awful as the internet makes them out to be.And Larxene is unattainable: she responds to all advances with "it's never going to happen"
I have a message from another time...Franchise name, not that there was only one FF title.
Mega Ten had 3 titles listed.
Also: Calling it now: Culex is involved, because shouldn't SE's OTHER planewalker be involved.
edit: Wait: "three songs each for FFI through FFXIII, corresponding to each game's Field, Battle and Event stages." Final Fantasy Tactics is getting the shaft AGAIN!
v_v
Well, lets hope for Secret Character status on Ramza. With 13 games and 50+ songs, there are at least 11 more (though 2 are 99% "Final Fantasy" and "Victory").
*Hopes for Rebel Army theme*

Nomura confirms Theatrhythm Final Fantasy is not the next Dissidia
http://www.andriasang.com/e/blog/2011/07/13/famitsu_squenix_feature/
So it's a spinoff of a spinoff.
Head hurts now, but I guess that's good news to the fans.
Oh wait, the Chocobo theme is likely also getting a spot, still 8+ left.
The chance that even one of the spin-offs get attention is very slim. I won't say that it's impossible, but you shouldn't hope for it.
People aren't as awful as the internet makes them out to be.Wasn't FFT the first actual (Not rebranded SAGA) spin-off game and one of/the most popular?
From the look of the last screenshot, the game is a side scrolling rpg like the Paper Mario games and Zelda2
