I find most anime to be incredibly boring. Most of them don't seem to have much of a plot besides a conflict between black and white morality, and none of them have characters that I care about. This is probably my fault, since I'm suffering from depression, so I'm sorry for complaining. I was just so frustrated I had to get this off my chest. Feel free to ignore me.

First of all "Feel free to ignore me?" If you have that kind of attitude, don't even start a thread.

Second, what is this "most"? How many of those kind of series did you actually watch, one or two?

It all depends on which anime you have actually watched, and what sort of fiction you usually enjoy. It could be that you are watching the wrong things.

Everything is boring?

Are you perhaps suffering from Hype Aversion? Have you gotten the impression from someone that Anime is really great and you will love it? Keep in mind that different stories work for different people. Many of them are not even going to be intended for you to watch at all.

Anyway conflict between good and evil is the plot for most stories period. In fact I'd say anime tends to gray and gray morality more often than not. Black VS White itself is as old as time.

Other than that minor point your opinion is fairly different than mine, so I probably can't help you, but try the recommendation thread or try some Manga. Unless it's really not your thing, then don't worry about it.

So maybe this thread might go somewhere worthwhile, but starting it with complaining is so not the right way to get there. We don't do complaint threads.

Shutting up shop.
