Oregon Trail never gets old, no matter what your age is.
Clue Finders. Juilliard Music Adventure. Carmen Sandiego. Thinkin' Things. Super Solvers.
Bookworm Adventures.
Where in the X is Carmen Sandiego.
Furthermore, I think Guantanamo must be destroyed.Civilization. Technically not an edutainment title, but I learned more about history from the Civlopedia than I ever did in high school history classes, so I'm gonna throw it in.
Similarly, you can learn a heck of a lot of history from Age of Empires, especially back when they had those big instruction manuals.
For actual edutainment games: Gizmos and Gadgets and The Incredible Machine were fun.
Oregon Trail 2 or 5: In case the first one gets too simple for you. These games have a lot more possible trails, amongst other things.
Fate Of The World: At the very least, it will educate you on some of the things that could cause severe climate change.
Dwarf Fortress: It will teach you about geology and what it takes to run a village, if nothing else.
Doctor Brain If you love puzzle games.
The older versions are my favorites.
Where In The World Is Carmen Sandiago is also lots of fun (older version is better but much more frustrating)

Apocalypse: Dirge Of Swans.>_> What! Reading the Compendium is half the fun!
Logic puzzles are fun!
"The world ends with you. If you want to enjoy life, expand your world. You gotta push your horizons out as far as they'll go."
Guess what, everybody? You're (I assume) motherfuckin' adults now! There's no teacher telling you that you can only play Oregon Trail until after your assignment's done, no parents restricting what to buy, etc. etc.
So what edutainment games are awesome? The less obvious, the better.
I'm partial to Spelling Blizzard/Jungle. Total puzzle game, the spelling is peripheral at best.
