I am leaning towards the current.
Please.Would a snapshot of the same scene, but with a bigger distance between hand and woman be better?
Or a before and after, of the character falling, and then being caught.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid. Why would we need a multi-panel pic to prop up the current when the Jetfire pic not only covers it adequately but lampshades it?
I realize the context implied just the current, when I meant any kind of work.
Also, I don't think the Jetfire one lampshades it, as much as shows him being a smartass as he saves the guy. But still works though (had to look through the thread, as it was buried in a post and had trouble finding it).
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.Jetfire looks fine to me. It shows the trope. It lampshades the trope. The image text is easily legible. It might be possible to do better, but I'm more than happy with the current Jetfire suggestion.
Crowner's up. Vote away!
Bump for votes, right now Jetfire's up +5 to -3 on the current pic.
One more bump, now it's +6 to -2 for Jetfire.
The votes have moved a little closer than they were before, so let's let this one run through the weekend.
And we're done. Jetfire's up, potholed, tagged, and captioned, and I moved the former pic to the example. Locking up.

Nominations for replacement images:
Jetfire is definitely better than the current one.
