Who defines what qualifies as political education? Anyone could brand those unfamiliar with their own brand of politics as uneducated regardless of how educated they actually are.

Well what happens it that people tend to apply their own beliefs on top of what they hear. As an example, I assume that according to the polls that a substantial number of people through that the TP bill included tax increases on the rich, and as such it "sounded" like a good compromise.
