Dumb question: Did SCM ever explain how Sinestro went bad in this series? Because it's Hal's falt in the comics....

It's based on the DCAU continuity, where no Earth GL had a hand with Sinestro's fall from grace.

Hmmmm, bad news, SCM. It seems Suimasen might be dropping 3rei after chapter 16 due to being understaffed. Those chapters I posted were done by Paitouch over on Beast's Lair, and he (she?) isn't into the whole long-term translating thing.

The only way I see it working out is a) convincing another group to pick it up, b) pestering Pai-san whenever a new raw is released, or c) invoking dangerous pagan rituals

d) Grabbing a chair and waiting for the anime to get there.

That's not "working out," that's "defeat."

One wonders why no one has uploaded the beast lair translations to anywhere... besides imgur, at least...

I get what you mean. A good counter to that is to generally not express my (honest) opinion to anyone on the site. So, yeah, basically lurk and use their "expertise" to acquire info/translations/cool pics. Also, Arashi_Leonhart is an extremely talented writer.

Well, Suimasen released a small extra chapter of 6 pages for Drei. Kuro is a Jojo fan.

...SCM, on a scale of 1 to 10, how likely would is it that JJBA could wind up in 2814?

For some weird reason, my brain is stuck on the idea of Nanoha making a clone army of herself using project F technology, and after the crisis she made them for passes, the clones are caught in a negative space wedgie and sent to another universe, where they survive and establish their Nanoha-based clone civilization. So far, my muse is sticking them in the Star Trek-verse and the Vorkosigan-verse…

Hmm... though maybe I should try that story idea, even if not in the 2814-verse. It could have a legend-fades-to-myth arc and everything as Nanoha is deified as a vengeful mother goddess of war with Fate as her consort...

If there's a Nanoha-clone society in an alternate universe, it'd be fun if it WERE star trek. You could write the narrative style like a series of captain's logs....

Not too familiar with the Star Trek universe but I would like to through my vote behind the civilization ending up in the Dune universe. Because the Reverend Mothers weren't scary enough already.

Where did Kuro make a jojo reference? Though possibly I don't know enough about the series to recognize it.

Hmm, might write the Nanoha-clone civilization bit just to get back in the game, and then just retcon it into 2814 later if I'm so inclined. Okay, Star Trek first, to keep things simple. I can stick them in the Vorkosigan-verse later...
