Anything about Harry Potter that always annoyed you?

If you had a system for determining which wizards lack moral scruples, wouldn't it be prudent to, y'know, NOT GIVE THEM MAGICAL EDUCATION IN THE FIRST PLACE?

Or, don't group them all togethor so that they can feed each over's inner arsehole. Stick them in Hufflepuff, teach em' good work ethic.

Not giving them an education would marginalize them more than Muggle-borns ever have been, and they would be pissed. But considering that the Sorting Hat itself feels "condemned" to do its job, and then it was lit on fire, I'm really not seeing why there's still a character-based Sorting in the epilogue.

And then they would have a class of uneducated workers that may lose it one day and pick up a gun?

How does putting them in Hufflepuff derive them of an education?

In response to melloncollies post at the beggining about the time-turners they only let hermionie use it because she is the brightest student at hogwarts and harry and his friends are dumbledores favourites and harry potter is the best film-and-book series ever!!!!!!!!!!
