Thanks
Make your hearth shine through the darkest night; let it transform hate into kindness, evil into justice, and loneliness into love.I am a new user so I don't quite know all the rules but one of of edits got deleted on a Headscartcher page because it was conversational. I was answering a question that was asked on the page. Isn't that what the page is for the posting and answering of questions.? Are the answered supposed to go on a different page or ...?
You killed my father perpare to dieGenerally, unnecessary complaining on both sides of the fence (questions of "Why does this suck so much?" as well as answers of "Because this show sucks") both get deleted. "Controversial" sounds like another word for "attracting lots of natter and complaining." And yes, those get deleted, though it can be hard to tell what crosses the line.
What was the page in question?
Is it acceptable to cluster all the various questions related to a main plot point or aspect (e.g. the issue of the Skywalkers' parentage, or Batman's various vehicles) within one appropriately named folder? Saves a reader from having to scroll all over the page to find questions related to the same topic.
Folders are used all the time to order Headscratchers pages. So yeah.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanPersonally, I prefer having each individual question have its own folder, and then if you have time group the relevant folders under a heading that says "Batman's vehicles" or whatever.
I want the current Headscratchers format to go away and be replaced by a threaded discussion style page. That said, if we're going to keep it, use folders.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"OK, I just put the whole TDK Headscratchers page into folders. I adhered to chronological order of questions asked except I clustered similar questions into one folder. For example, about three different "why didn't the cops wipe the Joker's facepaint off?" quibbles into one folder.
I also paid no heed to averting spoilers in the folder titles, because as the page itself says, if you're on a Headscratchers page you should really be familiar with the plot of a work and if not that's your fault for getting spoiled.
Do new entries go at the top or at the bottom?
