I don't think it's a "I need to stop doing such-and-such" type support group as much as it is a "I'm having trouble coping with my lot in life" type support group. You know, like they have for veterans and folks with dead relatives and somesuch.

Also, it's funny. We're talking about how Zangief isn't a bad guy. It's funny that they had him, when M. Bison, who is a Street Fighter bad guy, is in the same room.

I doubt it will happen, but it would be cool if they referenced one of Bison's memetic quotes from the Street Fighter cartoon.

In my head, Robotnik and Bison are there only to spout memes.

Ralph: So, is this villain support group?

M.Bison: YES! YES!

Ralph: So, can I join?

Eggman: You know what they say, the more the merrier!

That's the worst kind of argument, the kind you can't win, because both sides are correct.

As shown here, all but the games and comics make him a bad guy for some reason. Not every Russian is a Dirty Communist.

Yeah, it's not so much of a deal about an unfaithful adaptation, but more of a question of what previous adaptation it's faithful to. Heck, maybe all of the adaptations forcing him to be a villain are why he's in the support group in the first place.

To be fair, since this is a movie adaptation, wouldn't it be more proper if, say, they kept him as a villain in the movie but a good guy in the game version of WIR?

Now the licensed videogame must be Sugar Rush for the handhelds, Hero Quest for the consoles and the original Fix It Fleix for downloads. DO IT DISNEY!

I just want other media to reference series amde after 1995. I don't know why tey can't, it's not like all writers grew up and played games only in the 1980s.

Anyone who grew up with post-1995 games are highly unlikely to be employed writing big-budget motion pictures, honestly. You'd probably be around 20-25.

Crazy. We will never see a video game adaptation of this movie however.

I'm thinking maybe some companies paid to have a character featured in the movie.

I guess. It's still so crazy. Who else do you think is in it, and will they use the voice actors they have in the games, or just some other dudes?

This looks really fun, actually. Very vibrant and alive, a tribute to video-games that "old" media doesn't usually give. Looking forward to it.

I like the idea some /co/mrade had of Zangief only showing up to the meeting to get free donuts.
