Ever heard of the story of the Gulf War Game Boy?
Please help out our The History Of Video Games page. You do know there's a difference between "Real Fans" and Fanboys, right?
3D Land was great! New Super Mario Bros 2 is the one that looks boring.
Considering that the Wii U is meant the console tailored for you (as in "us"/"anyone"), I support this.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8yAjWvAqyMNew Super Mario Bros 2 is great too!
It lacks that "Nintendo Magic" that every other Mario Platformer has.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8yAjWvAqyMDepends. Looking all over for coins is pretty fun, and Coin Rush Mode is cool as well.
Fantastic Supreme Überkaiser Emperor Folt of The Infinity and Beyond" ... "The First"!The coin gimmick is a ploy to draw people away from the fact that game itself had the least effort put into a Mario platformer.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8yAjWvAqyMIt has more effort in it than New Super Mario Bros, particularly in level design.
Fantastic Supreme Überkaiser Emperor Folt of The Infinity and Beyond" ... "The First"!I can't really speak for NSMB2 as I haven't played it yet (I'm not really planning to. It's a low priority buy. I was gonna buy it recently for kicks, but that money's being redirected towards White 2.), aside from watching a friend play it. The game looks pretty bad in 3D I must say. The backgrounds look washed out with it on. Though I'm surprised that the coins aren't really in your face, considering all the marketing Nintendo did about how coins were so important. The level design is looking a bit better than NSMB's and Wii's, though I only watched like 3 levels being played before we moved onto Disgaea 4, so I can't speak for the whole game. The originality and effort factor though, are at an all time low, though I don't think anyone's denying that.

You got some dirt on you. Here's some more! And there are heaps of poor design choices. You have to share a screen in co-op, even though you have separate consoles. Nintendo had the chance to rectify an issue that did hamper some of the previous game's multiplayer, but instead they went in the opposite direction and made it worse.
And there's no Mario Vs Luigi mode. Final Score: 0/10
Folt was.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8yAjWvAqyMThat decision makes it more like NSMBWii's Co-Op though. (AKA competing against each other to be the best, something that worked in favor of the Wii version.)
Visually and musically, effort is low. Design-wise, it's actually higher.

Fantastic Supreme Überkaiser Emperor Folt of The Infinity and Beyond" ... "The First"!I never found me and my friends competing in New Super Mario Bros Wii. Heck, that world dedicated to competition (World Coin, I think) barely encouraged it either.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8yAjWvAqyMI have. It was a blast. One of the most fun things that I've done this gen. Gotta organize a gaming night and do it again.
Fantastic Supreme Überkaiser Emperor Folt of The Infinity and Beyond" ... "The First"!Unfortunately, it's quite easy to unintentionally dick each other over in the co-op of Wii, which can delve into a vicious cycle of revenge, making it hard to get things done in levels. And judging from developer interviews, all the griefing that's common in Wii was unintentional.
You got some dirt on you. Here's some more!I just felt like beating the levels. There wasn't a competive feel.
Now, if this New Super Mario Bros U has the ever awesome, fun, and competitive Vs Mode of the first game in the NSMB series, then will interest levels will significantly rise.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8yAjWvAqyMBut dicking each other over is fun!
Fantastic Supreme Überkaiser Emperor Folt of The Infinity and Beyond" ... "The First"!If you play it with a couple of close friends, and you aren't too serious, screwing each other over in New Super Mario Bros Wii becomes a hilarious, swear filled, heart pounding, hilarious romp.
If you wanna PM me, send it to my mrsunshinesprinkles account; this one is blorked.Like someone said, just imagine what the Runaway Guys will do when they get their hands on a Wii U and New Super Mario Bros. U...
Just floating around...That will be fun to watch!
Fantastic Supreme Überkaiser Emperor Folt of The Infinity and Beyond" ... "The First"!I always thought that NSMBW was designed with multiplayer in mind, and that's what made it easy to me. The problem with designing with multiplayer in mind is that single player gets too straightforward and easy.
Please help out our The History Of Video Games page.I'll bring the popcorn and soda!
Are you more of a Pepsi, or Coca-Cola?
Or I can always bring a case of a cherry cola popular where I live.
Just floating around...I tend not to like soda drinks, so I'll just go with water.
Fantastic Supreme Überkaiser Emperor Folt of The Infinity and Beyond" ... "The First"!Fair enough.
Just floating around...Oh please, the level design clearly indicates that the multiplayer came later in development.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8yAjWvAqyMMaybe in some parts like the final boss or any other part with too-small platforms, but everything else seemed too streamlined and easy to me.
But that's just me.

I was going to branch out and start playing other consoles last year....and then my brothers Xbox 360 died because of a lightning storm. Wii still working like magic.
That's the main reason I plan on buying exclusively Nintendo consoles, their first party games are always at the very least solid, and their consoles will pretty much anything that isn't flat out abuse.
