I wanted them to kiss...
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Well, necro.
Near the end of the fifth movie, where Shiki walks out of the elevator, Araya says that if she didn't wake for few more moments, something would have been complete. What is that?
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel. His master plan, I suppose?
I know that. I just don't know exactly what IS that supposed to be.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel. No one knows. Araya and his plans are about as comprehensible as Cthulhu's dream diary.
I've got new mythological machinery, and very handsome supernatural scenery. Goodfae: a mafia web serialSomething about yin and yang blah blah blah...
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Same plan as all Magi in the Nasuverse. Find a way to reach Akasha, no matter how many people you have to kill to do it. It's a frickin' obsession with these people. You'd think they'd have given up on it after the last bazillion times people tried and got slaughtered by the Counter Force, but nooooo.

Well, it is the root of all knowledge. There's probably a way to bring back the dead in there somewhere.
I've got new mythological machinery, and very handsome supernatural scenery. Goodfae: a mafia web serialThat is in fact the entire plot of Fate Stay Night.
Reaching Akasha could turn you into Zelretch! Who wouldn't want to get there?
Huh, was that something mentioned in KNK?
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.No. But the way you acquire True Magic is apparently by reaching the Origin. Though some apparently just enter Akasha and never return.
Yeah, the disappearing part.
So basically...Araya wants to end everything and record the deaths so it would have meaning?
Christ, I don't understand his motive.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel. He wants to give meaningless deaths a meaning. He's sort of a romantic.
Ending everything is merely a possible side effect: he really doesn't care about that part one way or another.
For some reason, I found that comment morbidly funny.

Man, I just watched the more bloody bits of the 5th and 7th movie and got to say. KNK is the most deliciously violent series ever.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Ufotable seems to like doing that in their works.
Hmmm. I gotta admit, I wasn't expecting the third movie to be quite that explicit. Especially not right at the start. Fujino's life kinda sucks though; but at least things got better for her afterwards.
Keito's character design (or perhaps more specifically, his colour scheme) suddenly made me think of Ryunnosuke though.
Well, it's no secret that Nasu/Takeuchi tend to reuse character designs between their published works. Compare Young!Azaka in Kn K 6 with Young!Rin in Fate/Zero, or Fujino Asagami with Sakura Matou, or Lio Shirazumi with SHIKI Tohno, or (most obviously) Mikiya Kokutou with Shiki Tohno. Not to mention Mikiya's cousin is the spitting image of Kiritsugu Emiya.

Mikiya has a cousin? When does he appear?
By the way, does anyone remember Shiki's brother from the seventh movie? I wonder what's the deal with him. Due to Tsukihime spoilers, I have this theory that he was a lolicon that had...interest in little Shiki.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Yeah, Mikiya's got a cousin. He's the detective, Daisuke Akimi. He turns up in the 2nd and 7th films, and also I believe at the beginning of the 5th film.
As for Shiki (Ryougi)'s brother, I don't think he has any real importance to the plot. It's rare for him to be even mentioned, let alone show up on camera.

Oh, him? I thought he is Mikiya's uncle?
EDIT: He was mentioned once in the second movie, where Shiki tells her butler that he should stick with her brother because he's the elder. He was shown on camera in the seventh movie while Shiki was taken to her grandfather's last words.

I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel. If I recall correctly, he was mentioned in part 2, where it is revealed that he was passed up on becoming heir despite being male and older because he didn't have the duel personalities. And that's it.
Don't PM me. We don't like being PMed.Yup.

No problem. I found it interesting too...so, no comments on Shiki and Mikiya's career choice?
@d Roy: Oh, right, that would be the end of the seventh movie. As far as I can tell, it doesn't seem to mean much...just a bit more ship tease, I guess?
