The concept/theme: life, politics, and culture in the United States in the 90s.

As for the odd prescience: These lines from the title track: My rights are denied By those least qualified.

This was before the 2000 election and the Patriot Act, yet they are also a perfect response to them.

An album by The Offspring. The singles off of it that got radio and MTV play were "Pretty Fly (For a White Guy)", "She's Got Issues", "Why Don't You Get a Job?", and "The Kids Aren't All Right". It came out around '99 or early aught aught.
