Apparently they haven't been able to send out new shipments after the holidays due to troubles with making more CPU's for them?
Go get your Nintendo Account people! You can sign in easily using your NNID. The registration feels like it was designed this decade, so we're off to a good start.
Already did it, was just about to post here. Here's hoping for good things.
Made one and linked it to my Twitter and Google+ accounts.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!I'm waiting to get the e-mail with the verification code...
It's taking it's damned time.
One Strip! One Strip! So I'm not the only one. I have a feeling they're getting more traffic than they expected.
I'll just wait until another day, then.
You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life!Well, I put in the info again.
I did make one change (wrong time zone the first time). I didn't consider traffic. I guess I'll wait and see if it comes later.
One Strip! One Strip!I got my email after 5 seconds. Make sure you have the right email address. I made that mistake at first.
Also check your junk mail, just in case.

I got it after a few seconds as well.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Ok. I got it, though I ended putting it in again.
....So what do I do with it now?
One Strip! One Strip!Sit on your thumbs and wait for Nintendo find some way to screw it up.
We can pre-register for Miitomo very soon using it.
Pre-register for Miitomo is all that's available at the moment. But I don't think that's working yet.
It's Nintendo's first mobile game... app... thing. I think it's supposed to be some sort of communication application and will be one of the pillars of the Nintendo Account.
I don't expect it to be very exciting or lead to much, but it can't hurt to register and see what happens. Pre-registering will earn you Platinum points, which you can use for stuff.
Edit: The JP version allows you to track your purchase history, including DLC and added funds. Presumably the western version will get it soon.

Nintendo Account? Should work with everything. Miitomo? Not confirmed, but I'd be shocked if it wasn't available for both iOS and Android.
Done and registered in under a minute.
Browsed Nintendo's site and they got a section up for Twilight Princess HD. It has a Hero Mode where, like in the games before it, enemies do double damage and the world is mirrored, which is quite hilarious considering that the Wii version of the game was mirrored to begin with, thus you're playing the "Wii version!"
The Ganondorf amiibo will increase damage you take until you stop playing or if you get a Game Over. Link and Toon Link amiibo give you arrows and the Zelda and Sheik amiibo restores hearts. There'll also be a Wolf Link amiibo to unlock an optional dungeon called the Cave of Shadows where only Wolf Link can be used there to fight enemies. It seems to be similar to the Cave of Ordeals. The advert also said the Wolf Link amiibo will be used in the upcoming Zelda Wii U game.

Miitomo preregister is live. It seems that if you have a Nintendo Account it takes literally two clicks from that link.
This seems too easy. Like they're dumbing down the process. #StopTheCasualization #BringBackHardMode
So what does this thing do again?
Also, where do you go on the Nintendo site to access your account? I don't want to keep coming back to this page to find the log in page.
One Strip! One Strip!
I've been thinking for awhile now that Nintendo is going to run out of Wii Us to sell very soon, especially since Splatoon moved more systems than anticipated. I'm not completely sure how much of an issue they see it as.
