Whenever I do play Xenoblade, I use the Classic Controller.
This is because if a Wii game gives me the option to use a regular controller, I'll take it.
You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life!If I knew it was getting a Wii U release I may not have shelled out $100 for a Wii copy...
But then, getting to play it months earlier is a benefit in of itself.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!I had my Wii copy for over 2 years.
You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life!Just got past Bramble Scramble in DKC 2. Fucking Bramble Scramble.
The bramble levels are my favorite parts of DKC 2.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Just completed Toxic Towers. Honestly, I found the first half of the stage with Rattly to be harder than the second half. Once I got past the check point and transformed into Squawks, the rest of the stage was relatively easy.
Rattly's the hardest part of that stage, yeah.
Doesn't help that Rattly's probably the worst animal buddy in the game. He can hop high, but... Squawks and Squitter can fly/climb way higher and more controllably, and both have ranged attacks.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique! But he's so much fun! Boing! Boing!
I have a message from another time...I completed the game not long after posting earlier. I don't think I'm going to hunt down all those hero coins though.
On to DKC 3.

You should!
There's a secret boss and ending if you clear all the levels in the secret world, by the way.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique! So, I just got Mighty Switch Force and have played a bit of it. I'm up to Incident 9.
I'm loving it so far.
You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life!I fucking hate Incident 16 of Mighty Switch Force...fucking gimmick screws me over too many times!
You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life! The logic goes like this apparently:
Yo-kai Watch = Pokémon-esque money making machine that is a big hit in Japan
Just Dance: Best selling casual money making machine
Yo-kai Watch + Just Dance = Profit!!! At least in Japan.
Really, all this news makes me want to see Pokémon Stadium game on the Wii U, or Pokémon Snap 2.
I'd really like a Pokemon Stadium game, but it'd have to be pretty grandiose to compete with the handheld games now that they have its main draw of 3D battles.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique! We've already determined there won't be a proper pokemon game for Wii U or any future system.
With the series in 3D on handhelds, the console games have nothing to offer, except maybe slightly better graphics.
I wanted it as well, but once this was pointed out, I realized it was a pipe dream.
One Strip! One Strip! Not necessarily. The handhelds may be 3D, but they're relatively low-res and simplistic.
A console Pokemon game would have to have higher-end graphics and a lot of unique aesthetic touches- PBR was supposed to have destructible environments, for example. Perhaps this theoretical game could revive that idea? Say, using Hyper Beam or some other high-power beam could blow a hole in the arena wall, or using Surf or Rain Dance could leave the floor dripping wet... until someone uses Sunny Day?
It's still a bit of a hard sell, but if you were to cram in enough convenience and quality-of-life features as well as a good amount of single-player content that's actually fun and not haxxy, it could work.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!I mentioned this before, but the draw of a console Pokemon game is the ability to battle on the TV, which offers a different experience due to being able to accommodate spectators much more easily.
Give it the rules customization that the handheld games currently lack (i.e. Sleep Clause toggle, Inverse Battles for PVP, auto-leveling for Little Cup or a Level 100 match) and you've justified the game's existence.

If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?Needs the three C's: Cinematography, Convenience, and Content.
And yes I just made that up.
Hell, I'm thinking they should go full battle sim; while you can import Pokemon directly from your handheld games, you'd also be able to fully customize rental Pokemon, down to the IV's. They'd be restricted from certain modes, of course, but I imagine having an official battle sim would be a good draw.
Online battling would either be a number of different servers with different rules (3-on-3, 6-on-6, singles, doubles, triples, rotation, multi, rentals only, imports only, ect.), or perhaps allow people to set their own rules for an online tournament.

You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Well, neither Nintendo or Gamefreak seem to be interested in trying a console game now (maybe they'll save it for the NX but I have doubts), so it's a moot point.
One Strip! One Strip!I don't believe Game Freak developed any of the console games.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?Colosseum, XD, and Battle Revolution were developed by Genius Sonority.
strawberryflavored: It's a strange situation. The Wii version looks better, but the 3DS version consistently runs better. Also the best way to play the game is via Wiimote; any and all traditional controller schemes just don't compare.
