I don't really see anything wrong with the current pic, but if we ''really' need to replace it than the other pic of Pagesus looks perfect in my opinion. What's cooler than a flying white horse? Although Epona looks epic
I see many people suggesting images while noting that "I'm okay with the current pic, but..." Personally I think we should just keep it.
However, if we need an alternative, there's this cool, genuine (not from a video game, etc.) painting of Sleipnir which may or may not have been suggested before.◊

That's a dog, Willbyr...
The words above are to be read as if they are narrated by Morgan Freeman. Thanks for catching that...gimme a bit while I look through my images to find the one I uploaded.
EDIT: Here we go◊...from yesterday's Sinfest. Granted, it's a little cartoony, but I figured the in-universe cool factor would help.

Here's◊ a◊ few◊ of Frollo's horse.

A white horse fightin' a bear, that's what! :)
We have a lot of good images here now. I think we should put all the suggestions (and the current pic) in a crowner, pick the best, and put the rest in a nice Image Links folder.
Still leaning toward relatively "normal" and non-fantastical-looking horses for this supertrope page, since most of the subtropes are about fantastical varieties.

Jet-a-Reeno!That's a good idea (and a good point, flying horse vs bear would be 'very cool). We shouldn't, for instance, have a 'mechanical horse' for this page because there's a trope for that.
Why not just have a collage, since this trope covers a broad range?
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.I'd like that. For the very broad supertropes like this, I think that collages are often a good choice.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.I'm against it. It's a simple concept, one decent-sized pic demonstrates better than six that are tiny and cluttered.
This implies, quite correctly, that my mind is dark and damp and full of tiny translucent fish.1. They don't have to be that tiny. We could do just three or four.
2. They don't have to be cluttered either.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid. Here are two versions of Ganondorf's horse, whether for use directly as an image or for use in the collage...

The second. The first one is just too dark to make out details. And even if brighter, the second one just looks, well, cooler.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.A collage does however, unavoidably, consist of smaller and more cluttered pictures than a single one. It may be a small sacrifice, but it's a pointless one to make, as a single picture can demonstrate this trope perfectly.
This implies, quite correctly, that my mind is dark and damp and full of tiny translucent fish. The problem is the "can" part falls to the lack of agreement on just one picture on this thread. Remember that potential<reality.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.Today's Gunnerkrigg Court has a tricked out horse◊ in the top left corner.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickWhy not just make a crowner and use the winner?
This implies, quite correctly, that my mind is dark and damp and full of tiny translucent fish.Heh...the second Ganondorf pic would be great if it was a little bigger, but that's a cool example too.
I think it's supposed to be official art or something. If so, it should not be too hard to find a bigger version...
EDITED IN: And here is a slightly bigger version. (On a sidenote, perhaps we should double-check on whether it was fanart or official art if we're going to use this.)

"The Daily Show has to be right 100% of the time; FOX News only has to be right once." - Jon StewartThat looks good.
Clock is set.
As I said, we still have yet to confirm whether it is fanart or official art. I'm not sure how to check this.
