I don't really see anything wrong with the current pic, but if we ''really' need to replace it than the other pic of Pagesus looks perfect in my opinion. What's cooler than a flying white horse? Although Epona looks epic

I see many people suggesting images while noting that "I'm okay with the current pic, but..." Personally I think we should just keep it.

However, if we need an alternative, there's this cool, genuine (not from a video game, etc.) painting of Sleipnir which may or may not have been suggested before.◊

We have a lot of good images here now. I think we should put all the suggestions (and the current pic) in a crowner, pick the best, and put the rest in a nice Image Links folder.

Still leaning toward relatively "normal" and non-fantastical-looking horses for this supertrope page, since most of the subtropes are about fantastical varieties.

That's a good idea (and a good point, flying horse vs bear would be 'very cool). We shouldn't, for instance, have a 'mechanical horse' for this page because there's a trope for that.

Why not just have a collage, since this trope covers a broad range?

I'd like that. For the very broad supertropes like this, I think that collages are often a good choice.

I'm against it. It's a simple concept, one decent-sized pic demonstrates better than six that are tiny and cluttered.

A collage does however, unavoidably, consist of smaller and more cluttered pictures than a single one. It may be a small sacrifice, but it's a pointless one to make, as a single picture can demonstrate this trope perfectly.

Heh...the second Ganondorf pic would be great if it was a little bigger, but that's a cool example too.

I think it's supposed to be official art or something. If so, it should not be too hard to find a bigger version...
