Remember people, only one day limits a lot of what you can do. You can't build things, because anything you've built will be unbuilt the following day. You can learn things, potentially, but you can't keep any notes on what you've learned. You can't get very far, because going places takes a lot of time.

I mean, sure, you could theoretically learn everything on Wikipedia, so you're in a much better place than Bill Murray, but still.

[up]You literally have infinity to learn stuff, Not learning everything is just a failure on your part.

You would get use to it. Just as you got use to things not reseting when you were a kiddie.

You can fly most of the way around the world in 24 hours. Every system has a flaw. With enough tries, you could figure out how to sneak onto planes going wherever you want.

And let's not forget the internet. Now, there would be a cap, but think about how much you could do. And then there's every book, every movie, every work of art, every kind of food, etc. Your brain would lose its ability to retain more information long before you ran out of exciting things to do.

Except for 4/1/2011. That day lingers in my memory like...metaphor here...I should go.

Technically, you could also Learn the exact phrasing to get anyone to do whatever you want.

The end.

Well, if you retain information, then who's to say you wouldn't just go stark raving mad before you can learn all of these nifty things? "Gee, he was just fine yesterday but now he's completely insane!"

That would be a boring outcome though. can you not see why?

Am I allowed an option to end it and continue on with my life or is my only way out suicide?

Suicide didn't work for Bill Murray, I doubt it'd work here.

...no. NO. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

That's even more horrifying than the idea of reincarnation or an after life...

But think, you would be able to learn Japanese, and thus not need subtitles, so you could catch up on all the stuff that hasn't been subbed or dubbed. Not to mention seeing the uncut versions.

That'll buy you at least a few years worth of entertainment.

Very quickly. I'm unattractive, not prone to committing crimes, and not very charismatic or monetized, and I'm also paranoid the loop might break if I spend the night in jail or something.

Why not? My life's not going anywhere anyway. I'd check the net for escort services in my area and then spend my days going hog wild.

Aondeug, if you think about it, a time loop like this is actually a good way to reach enlightenment. after a while you stop caring about what is happening around you (been there, done that) and just focus on your inner self, the only thing that remain relevant to your existence

Yes it would be absolutely lovely since it's basically "SAMSARA X1000 REPETITION POWER!!!!!!". Which is the ultimate nightmare.

I imagine I'd read a lot and try to become good at and knowledgeable about as many things as possible. If I could retain memories, would I retain the physical effects of exercise? It'd be something to experiment with, at least. I would also try to deliberately get my friends to behave differently each time in order to make conversations more interesting, because otherwise those could get boring incredibly fast.

I don't think I'd get tired of it that quickly, therefore, but I'd become increasingly anxious with each iteration. I would worry that the loop was going to end at the worst possible time, or that the loop was never going to end and I was at the end of the universe, and that I would just keep going until my brain stopped working. This would probably motivate me to try to find some means to escape sooner or later.

It would depend on the day. I can recall three or four days that I wouldn't mind re-living over and over and over.

Would take weeks, or months, for me to get bored of repeating those.

Other days? The Horror!

It would have to be a day on which I have no obligation to interact with people at all. Preferrably not a school day because I am in danger of losing two credits if I have any more unexcused absences (long story) from those classes, and you never know if the loop will suddenly end.

As much as I love hanging out with my friends and going to the prom with my boyfriend and stuff, I wouldn't want to live that day over and over because no matter what I do, my friends will only reset and keep doing the same thing. Once I got tired of it and decided to do something else, I would have to cancel plans with my friends over and over and over.

Seriously, imagine being so excited to go on a date with your girlfriend and then having her call you to say she won't be coming because she's been stuck in a time loop and has gotten tired of reliving the date over and over.

So could I.

In fact, it wouldn't surprise me if I mastered or got bored of the piano and moved onto the guitar, since there is one in my house that I never learned to play.

Or maybe I'd take an illegitimate drive to the music shop and learn to play the drums.

I could probably last a long time just tracking down videos to watch on the Internet. It seems like there's enough to watch to fill a century to me.....

Of course, I'd want to socialize eventually. Probably. I don't know, I could last a good while, definitely.
