I know that there are more (I am not one of them, though).
A question, just to start the conversation: how different are Sunni Muslims from Shia Muslims, on a purely theological level?
But they seem to know where they are going, the ones who walk away from Omelas.I'm not Muslim either, but I know of someone who is: Hellman Sabian. Just so you can add him to any list(s) you might be making.
Present. -.-
Read my stories!Justice's wife is a Muslim, though I don't know how willing she'd be to make an account here. I've always been fascinated by Islam, but haven't really had the time to study it, since I'm way behind in studying my own religion as is.
Salam, I'm one.
If a chicken crosses the road and nobody else is around to see it, does the road move beneath the chicken instead?@Random I believe she's already a Troper.
There's no justice in the world and there never was~Oh really? Somebody should show her this thread.
Worst. Join up. Ever.
Read my stories!Greetings.
Take me to your leader.
AHR are disappoint. I agree that it's a little bit strange there aren't more Muslim tropers. I guess this means we'll either have to start finding Muslim people to join or start converting current tropers...
There are some former muslims, but one is forum banned, and the other...I think they were banned too?
Read my stories!Well that sucks. How do you remember this stuff? Anyway, I'd convert to Islam so we'd have somethig to talk about, but I'm a little preoccupied with Buddhism.
—snerk— I'd get very mad at you if you did that.
Read my stories! My uncle is Muslim, but I don't think he's on the Internet — or if he is, I've never found him. A shame, because I haven't talked to him since I was a kid.
A brighter future for a darker age.Oh. Sorry! I could just start studying it and discuss it here like I planned to anyway. It's always good to learn about other people's faiths!
That's a sad story. And I doubt you'd want to track him down just to have him join this coven...
If you did that, you'd probably no more about the religion than I do. I just casually learned it my entire life, which is a bit different then someone who actually studies it.

Read my stories! That's how it goes with most people's first religions, I think. They're taught the basics of it by their family/at church or whatever and then decide to be a part of it. People also tend to not study it any further than this because they feel they've got the basic ideas down.
Hmm, my school has copies of the Qur'an, I could possibly get one from there sometime, provided I can keep it from my nazi of a brother. Or I could just use the religious studies book I have here.

Yes We Did. Dallas Mavericks — 2011 NBA ChampionsA Muslim from Texas, THEY EXIST.
Just kidding.
If a chicken crosses the road and nobody else is around to see it, does the road move beneath the chicken instead?...which part?
Read my stories!Yes, my school carries several different religious texts. They even have copies of Dianetics, while I haven't managed to find a single book on Buddhism, save for ones that cover religion in general.
I'm not Muslim myself, but I was hoping some of you could satisfy my curiosity. Could you tell me a bit about Sufism? It sounds very interesting
Life is like a game of Mahjong. Sometimes you need to take risks if you want to come out ahead. Not a Sufi thing. Sounds like it's like a Quaker equivalent (popularity wise) or sommat.
