They've got them on GoG, and I've been interested in buying them and checking them out, since they're apparently similar to Heroes of Might and Magic, and I do love that series. Only reason I haven't gotten them yet is because my current backlog of games is a bit bigger than I'd like...

Yeah, its like Might and Magic, but with some things aplied from Civilization too, with the only difference that you cannot have an elf and an orc in the same party, I mean, fantastic racism is applied too much in this game

I think the closest game is Master Of Magic, Age Of Wonders is kinda its, how do you say it, spiritual remake.

so yeah, I finally got around to playing this. Pretty fun so far, even if the tuturial explained jack shit about actual combat mechanics. Nothing to hard to figure out with a little trial and error, but still.
started the campaign, decided to go with the Cult of Storms first. Man, the time limit on that second mission was pretty brutal, I made it with only a day to spare, after having to restart a few times. I took the trade route, finding that wolfrider hero off to the side made things a lot easier. Is the underground route any easier?

Well, you have the orcs as allies, but the dwarves outnumbers them, fuuny thing is, Orcs and Goblins normally doesnt have good relations, and Dwarves hate Elves

I have to ask: Goblin Big Beetles, why u so good?
Really, 40 movement and wall crushing? These things are just awesome! I've been carrying the same one you get in the 1st(or was it 2nd?) mission through the entire campaign so far. Starting with a Big Beetle just makes expansion so easy!
