Notice that I said bashing, not criticism. The difference is that in bashing you refuse to note any of the books good points, while with criticism you take into account both the good points and the bad points.

So I think it is pretty much obvious who the next rider is. Unless Paolini is setting us up for a twist.

According to the excerpt I saw on Amazon a while back, the king of the werecats will be met, what do you think'll happen?

Arya, I presume. This should be interesting, to say the least. Paolini is not good with writing female characters, so we shall see where this takes him.

Does anyone else think that the only reason this series us disliked so much is because people saw the movie before they had a chance to read the books?

I read the books first. The movie flopped. Not many people saw it. Most anti-Eragon websites are based on the books. Not the movie.

Brom was cool in it though, and the actor for Eragon seemed decent.

Murtagh was hot as all fuck.

I hope that it eventually gets a second chance at a movie. It just seems to me that its a series that would lend itself nicely to the screen.

If they made a new movie, who do you think the actors should be? I'd say that the best Brom would be Christopher Lee.

I was hoping the third dragonrider would be female... but I was hoping to get another female main character, not load powers on the one we already have.
