Nope, I breed them for IVs too much.

I become attached to certain species, for sure. But I also want to start breeding for the best traits... So I create Legacy Character's.

Support Gravitaz on Kickstarter!NOPE.
But that probably has to do with the fact than I dont play Pokemon.
"That is not dead which can eternal lie, And with strange aeons even death itself may die."Yes. But how attached I am to my party depends.
I'm not as attached to my Soul Silver team as I am to my Pearl team, for instance. Mainly because most of my SS team wasn't as consistent as it was during Pearl.
I do. It makes it very hard to shift the teams around.
Eating a Vanilluxe will give you frostbite.I'm doing a Nuzlocke right now,so this is inevitable.
Also my bros from another save file. It's a rom hack◊

I can't stop listening to thisI do, though I like to mix around my current team around with my old teams every once in a while. It lets everyone get a chance to be used without being permanetly forgotten.
To expound upon my previous statement, I always use the same dozen or so kinds of Pokemon, with the same name and usually the same gender for each generation of the species.
Support Gravitaz on Kickstarter!Of course, it's an integral part of my body.
Oh wait, you were talking about something else.
No. They're nothing but bits of data.
You got some dirt on you. Here's some more!Oh so very much!
One of my few regrets about being born female is the inability to grow a handlebar mustache. -LandstanderYes. Which is why I EV train them and try and get good natures. I can't stand the thought of having my pokémon not live up to their full potential because I'm a crappy trainer.

Read my stories!Getting attached to your slaves makes it difficult to send them to their certain deaths. Best to maintain a bit of distance.
"Tyyr's a necessary evil. " SpiritI do, but that doesn't stop me from breeding, releasing, and EV training for better ones.
Sorry, I can't hear you from my FLYING METAL BOX!Absolutely. I'll usually have a core of about 4 from very early on (always with the starter), then pick up another 3-4 wildcards and the HM Officer. They're very rarely retired altogether.
On at least one occasion, my HM Officer kicked so much ass that she got promoted to mainstay and I had to get a new one.

To a degree. I always keep my starter and 3-4 of the guys I pick up. I usually swap out only if I find a type that works well in most upcoming battles (or if it's the main legendary/looks cool), but I'm not the uber-nut (sorry guys ) who focuses on EV training and what not.
"Oh no, Sanji's Chronic Simprosis!" - Kou The MadI do tend to get a bit attached to the Pokemon I EV train/IV breed, just because I've put so much effort into them.
But somehow,◊I do, quite a bit. To the point where I usually only catch 6 pokemon per game.
@ Nohaynick: Which romhack is that?
Yeah. I'll never forget that one hoppip i grew from "Worse than a Magikarp" to "Badass status ailment spammer" over the course of my gametime. That was on a ROM, though, which i have lost. Never really got into the pokemon games i own legally, actually...
Bleye knows Sabers.I still have that Jumpluff in Silver somewhere. Wore down Red's Snorlax at level 51, she did.

The ones that I keep in my party, yes. The ones that I stash in a PC box as soon as they're caught, not so much. This is also why I must nickname every Pokemon I get, even if it's just a stupid placeholder name.
Do not fear power... fear those who wield it.I always nickname my pokemon. I have about a dozen or so that I've grown fond of.
"It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to open one’s mouth and remove all doubt." - Some guy with a snazzy hat.
I have this team that I never switch out because I think of them as a sort of "family".
GET IN MY VAN, KIDS.
