Merging seems very reasonable to me.
As an example of something that is very similar to a natural amulet, consider a Lich's phylactery. Although we're listing that as a Soul Jar, it's a case where there's an arguable crossover with Amulet of Dependency. The phylactery is a necessary element in the creation or birth of a lich, and effectively gives the lich immortality, at the expense of its fate being tied to an external physical object.

Got a holler to lock here but far as I can see the work for this one hasn't been done.
I'm a little unclear about what a "natural" Amulet of Dependency means in this context.
@Camacan
Oops. Forgot about this one. ^^;
I think we could define a "natural Amulet of Dependency" as something that acts as an Amulet of Dependency but is simply part of a being's nature. So if that seems to be the consensus, I'll go ahead and change the page to explain that an Ao D can be created, discovered, or part of a being's nature. Do we need a crowner first?

I went ahead and added a comment to the description to Amulet of Dependency. Are we ready to close this one, or are there any remaining concerns?
Back in January I made a YKTTW called "Permanent Talisman," which has since disappeared. Basically, it was about Amulets of Dependency that were natural to the creatures they came from.
I'd like to change the article to reflect that some Amulets are not deliberately created, by natural parts of particular supernatural creature's biology. Here are some examples:
Literature
Folklore
