Soooooooo... Nautilus is the princess of this kingdom? ??? I'm a bit confused.

She's no longer on the character page...

Peridot is implying that Rosemaster kidnapped all royalty (including those from other kingdoms) and enchanted everyone else to forget about them.

Mind you, why she even wanted Nautilus to begin with is still up in the air, and is likely to be explained shortly.

Isn't it obvious? Being her duty to know all about the Nightmare Knight, his first conquest, and his minions, she would...eventually dispel the lie about the royal family being wiped out with ease. Of course, it doesn't explain why her memory wouldn't be affected by the spell... Maybe it would be because of her...unique mentality?

[up] I thought it would be something along those lines, but I'm not sure. Why Rosemaster didn't just use the spell on her is a good question, though. We're missing some scenes here.

I would guess that a memory enchantment can only work for so many people, and the only reason they don't have to memory-wipe everyone in Dreamside is that they've successfully fabricated the story that they wanted passed down in history.

Except people like Nautilus are particularly equipped to put together the real story from the information available. Which is why they needed to be isolated and contained.

So... What effect do these flower-orbs have? Do they produce the forgetfulness effect, or allow some form of manipulation? Furthermore, are Peridot, Nautilus and Kaboodle then immune to this strategy as a result of not having floral names? Perhaps that's why they've been separated from the others...

Maybe those flower bubbles are the physical representation of stolen memories.

Maybe Rosemaster's powers only works on people who have names related to flowers. If that power sounds too specific and situational, keep in mind that she's stationed in the Flower Kingdom.

Gigi also mentioned that Mutemaster had a similar limitation where his mute powers would only work in the Melody Kingdom.

Edit: Oh, looks like that was actually a misinterpretation.
