I can't watch the video on the computer, but is that as large as Marvel VS Capcom 2? Could that have been ported to Wii Ware also?
Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 is 200 MB on the 360, IIRC, so they probably couldn't port it to Wii Ware.
Why I am afraid of fences.Jett Rocket already proved it is possible to publish a competent 3D game on Wiiware if you have mad compression skills. This is still quite impressive, even though the Wii version is apparently missing some effects.
I'm more surprised that (the shambling corpse pretending to be) Interplay actually released something, though. Maybe the Descent port will come out before the heath death of the universe.

Good luck, game was uber difficult from what I remember from it.I think the controls were wonky too, maybe you can change them this time though.
Holy.... I played both MDK games right on my Personal Computer years back. Let me tell you, comparing both games is like comparing night and day. I also find it fun how people speculate or make jokes on what the title stands for. Some say "Murder Death Kill", others say "Massive Dollops of Ketchup", and others say that the official title is "Max, Dr. (Fluke) Hawkins, and Kurt".
Both games are pretty tough, but I managed to beat them after going through some pain. Say, did you know that the comic book-like covers shown in the loading screens for each level of MDK 2 are taken from old Marvel Comics comic book covers and changed a little to have the MDK characters on them instead?
Do you think that there will ever be an MDK 3? I definitely would buy it if that ever came out.
Oh, Equestria, we stand on guard for thee!Wanna bet this is testing the waters for MDK 3?
Jonah FalconNo. MDK stands for "Misson: Deliver Kindness"
Don't you try anything, you baked good you.More Damned Kids.
Jonah FalconMy Delicious Kumquats.
Jonah FalconSome other possibilities listed are "Mission: Deliver Kindness", "My Dear Knight", and "Mother's Day Kisses". Interplay Entertainment did say that they are planning to make MDK 3.
Oh, Equestria, we stand on guard for thee! No, it really does stand for Mission: Deliver Kindness'': http://cdn.steampowered.com/Manuals/38450/Manual%20English.pdf?t=1255985825

Don't you try anything, you baked good you.Holy crap I used to play this game a lot. Then I forgot about it for about 10 years or so until a friend of mine found it for me on Steam.
I used to play the crap out of the demo (it did it's job well). Now I just need to get around to actually buying the game.
My Dear Kittens.
Jonah FalconA big question I have this: if MDK 3 is made, how would the beginning of the game work? After all, there were three possible endings in MDK 2. Kurt's ending has him becoming famous and just going back to his job as a janitor (is he a literal example of the Almighty Janitor or what?). Dr. Fluke Hawkins' ending has him gaining the respect and admiration of all his peers, and going back to his first love: atomic robot zombie men! Max's ending has him becoming emperor of Swizzle Firma, building a strong and disciplined empire, and becoming an ally and partner of the Earth. So I guess the question is which ending would MDK 3 follow? Or here's a thought: what if Interplay Entertainment pulls a Deus Ex and simply states at the beginning that all three endings happened? How would you like that?
Oh, Equestria, we stand on guard for thee!
Anyone else played this recently released Wii Ware game?
It's impressive that this is just a 40 MB Wii Ware game, isn't it? Well, it also used to be a Sega Dreamcast game.
That's right, they were able to port a freakin' Dreamcast game, in full, to Wii Ware.
