Eh, sometimes yes, sometimes no. I have yet to see a good, fast paced action scene in a novel yet that can do what movies and videogames do with such ease. Or you know, convey high levels complexity at times with only a moment. Think of all of that Technology Porn in some of the Transformer movies.
The thing about making witty signature lines is that it first needs to actually be witty.

Well the fact that the video was an amateur parody of what was already a B-list rubber-suit show, and the written version was an imitation of Gabriel fucking Marquez is probably going to skew things a bit.
And the fact that video porn is basically just people going at it, while in prose you can at least describe emotions and stuff.
