The first thing I noticed about this article is that it has no examples and this is not one of those tropes that is better without them. While I do not deny that it could be a trope, has it ever happened more than a few times? Out of all of the work pages I have read and all of the works I have played/read/watched/what have you, I never recall this happening (okay, I might have seen this once but I do not recall where).

Now, I have seen something similar to this though. However, in order for those to be this trope, it would require the Love Interest to just be watching. Every time I have seen something like this happen though, the Love Interest usually had some part in the battle (or whatever). The first example that springs to mind of that would be Rain Mikamura from Mobile Fighter G Gundam (if I recall correctly, she would often get a Reaction Shot after a battle but she frequently did more than watch when one was given [Domon Kashu's fight with Schwarz Bruder during the tournament springs to mind]).

If there exists examples of this trope as is, then we should just add them and move on. However, if it seems too rare to be a trope I say we should edit it to exclude the "Love Interest only watches" bit, see if we can give it a rename (as the current one is dull in my opinion), and go from there.

Alternatively, the article does say that it does not have to be a Love Interest watching. If we can find more examples of that than a Love Interest then I say we just add the examples and rename it to reflect that (since the current title would be a bit misleading).

I can't think of any examples. If no-one else can I think this should go on the cut-list. There seems no reason why this should not have examples if it is genuinely a trope.

Could probably stand to be moved to YKTTW since whoever created the page appears to have skipped that step altogether. See what happens.

I wouldn't be posting at this forum if I didn't think it a necessary step.

Yeah, it could be a trope, so send it to YKTTW for feedback and example-gathering.

I didn't write any of that.

This is a Reaction Shot (Type 1). That's the normal name for that type of shot, and so this trope is redundant.

Well, I already put it on the cut list so hopefully it isn't there now.
