Yes, it's iconic to be from Star Wars, but having "Luke" in there not only is it a Beam Me Up, Scotty!, it really isn't necessary in the trope title to convey the meaning.

I think "I Am Your Father" would be fine, and "Luke, I Am Your Father" be a redirect, not the other way around.

As a general rule, you should get the usage counts before posting a TRS thread. If you see big numbers and not much misuse, the title's working fine.

Luke, I Am Your Father found in: 1280 articles, excluding discussions.

This title has brought 1,064 people to the wiki from non-search engine links since 20th FEB '09.

Yeah, this is doing really well. I've seen a couple of pages with better usage, but this is pretty up there. Generally, anything with more than a dozen or two wicks or more than a hundred inbounds need to have pretty bad misuse to get renamed.

Fight smart, not fair.

So, any objections from the crowd?

Objections to what? Renaming it? Obviously. It's an iconic trope with healthy wicks (though they are actually a bit low, given how common it is).

We should check for misuse, just to be sure. I haven't seen much personally, but it's better safe than sorry.

I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.

A request has been made to lock the page because there were no serious objections. The last post was over three months ago. Locking.
