Old guy had a cooler voice, though this guy seems more willing to do the ol' power/classic metal wail. Music and lyrics sound just as narmy and repetitive as ever.

About half the complaints I see about Dragonforce are "they're sellouts because Guitar Hero".
I can understand criticism of their repetitiveness, though. Even if I don't necessarily agree with it.
Dragonforce being more or less the only metal band I like that has yet to break up may have something to do with this.

I'm not denying that they get unwarranted hatred, because they obviously do. I just can't see any of it in this thread, which made the "continue with the unwarranted hatred" comment seem a bit odd.
That was pretty much my exact reaction when I first heard the guy.
