See, I have an issue with the whole Norway solution. It would be one thing if the idea were to take it and stick to it. But Flexit basically means to join, be a troublesome for a while and then buggering off for supposedly greener pastures. Why should Norway and co allow the UK to use their union this way?

BBC news 24 have been showing pics of a container that apparently caught fire/exploded. There have been reports of a number of people being burned.

Burns are not that small an injury. It can leave nasty scars for the rest of your life.

Turns out that there's more going on. That storage fire? Now identified as an actual IED. :/
What storage fire? Are you talking about the device that exploded on the subway?
Yup. It was initially reported as a possible gas canister explosion gone agley. Now... not so much. They've found the ignition point: IED confirmed.
I think you might be conflating two incidents. There was a severe lineside fire at Harrow last night.

When was that called as a "storage fire"? That was always known as a device on the train.

I've been watching the news all morning and they never mentioned anything about a gas canister explosion.
Anyway there have apparently been 22 injuries, none of which were life threatening. The bomb was also on a timer apparently.

Ah. The BBC have been saying it was a white bucket in a plastic bag that exploded pretty much from the beginning.
On another note they aren't raising the Treat Level at least.
Treat level? This government hasn't raised the Treat level in years...

Sounds like it was a dud, mostly because they used a plastic container. Those absorb a lot of heat and don't tend to fragment well. I suspect that the nastiest injuries were from people getting trampled in the panic. Things going boom in a crowded underground station tend to cause that.
