Wow a lot of Inami hate :(.
Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!I don't hate Inami. I'm just wondering why there's so much of her. Too much of anything will get tiresome.

I hate her
Abuse Is Okay When It Is Female on Male is one of my most hated Tropes.
Added to the fact that she started stealing the spotlight...

Only Has Two Jokes And Tells Them Over And Over is not a trope, but it should be! And that's the one I hate.
Because she has at least the beginnings of an actual character arc, and she also helps Takanashi's character development along by forcing him to deal with his own issues.
"No, the Singularity will not happen. Computation is hard." -Happy EntOkay, all caught up on season one. And apparently while I don't dislike Inami I do hope her love remains unrequited. The relationship just isn't interesting. She's also not very cute, but it seems she's supposed to be.
Takanashi doesn't have issues.
... Yes he does. He totally does.
It's not very interesting in objective terms, but it's not as if it has much competition in this show...
"No, the Singularity will not happen. Computation is hard." -Happy EntHis entire fetish for small things? His issues with dominant women? And the fact that he's not dealing with either of these things in very constructive ways.
The guy's a textbook neurotic and they even state so explicitly.
"No, the Singularity will not happen. Computation is hard." -Happy EntHis aversion to anything that isn't cute and cuddly. Being a complete doormat to his sisters. Stuff like that.
Oh, hey, ninja'd.

Yeah. Takanashi's sisters walk all over him.
According to the side manga, it's not just his sisters. His friends also know who to pester for free stuff.
Oh, and there's also that his idea of a good time is being free to do chores.
Episode is out.
I wish we could see Izumi more, she was my favorite of his sisters.
Huh. It might just be because I can't really remember the first season any more, but it seems like the quality has greatly improved. I was smiling through the whole thing.
Lessee, they cut down on the romance subplot between Takanashi and Inami to a point where it feels less obnoxious then during the last season. Souma once again proved his worth as a master troll. Inami punched a guy only once (and it was hilarious). Aoi reached new levels of creepy. Poplar's uphill battle against her innate adorableness was funny again. And to top it off, they seemed to have improved the animation quite a bit.
Very entertaining, 4 stars, would watch again.
I'm glad they've stepped back on Inami's screentime - I didn't have anything against her romance arc, but it pushed everybody else to the sidelines. It does feel they slammed the Reset Button on all Souta's progress, though.
Yeah, unwritten rule number one: follow all the unwritten procedures. - CamacanWell, Status Quo Is God and all that. I wouldn't have it any other way, really. this show runs on delightfully predictable gags. Having too much Character Development would ruin that.
I mean, Souta never getting Yashiro is comedy gold. Souta and Yashiro forming a couple wouldn't be the same.

You're thinking of Jun. I'm talking about mister "not a lolicon".
Yeah, unwritten rule number one: follow all the unwritten procedures. - Camacan....ah, right, my bad. That's what you get for being piss-poor at remembering names.
"The only thing left that can make me feel better is....girls' boobs!"
<3 Yamada
Contrary to my initial impression, Yamada ended up as one of my favorite characters. She's such a jerk.
I don't think she's a jerk as much as slightly... off... Like she's inhabiting a reality thatis only vaguely connected to ours.
"No, the Singularity will not happen. Computation is hard." -Happy EntI like that part too. And by jerk I mean jerk by standards of Working, where everyone is still pretty much a nice person. Even the local blackmailer.
Either way, it definitely goes against my first impression of what she would be like.
... Like what?
