Wait, what happened to the first option? Why was it removed? sad

It left the redirect around with same text, making it possible to continue to bluelink the phrase. Not a fix.

Still need a name for the new article, if there will be one.

Can we swap out the current crowner with the one to find out the new name?

If continuing to bluelink the phrase is "not a fix", then that essentially reduces the crowner to two options — Permanent Red Link Club, and cut entirely. The only difference being whether or not any text associated with the old title remains.

Yup. The bluelinked phrase is a goner. The trope being described should be moved into a new article. Picking a name for that article is what remains to be done.

Is "Don't Explain The Double Endurance" supposed to be "Don't Explain the Double Entendre"? Because if not, I don't get the joke.

I like "Lampdshaded Double Entendre" and "Don't Explain the Double Entendre". Although, I'd rather have one of those as the actual title instead of a custom one.

We have a winner. Lampshaded Double Entendre.

Now we can get rid of that awful Nudge Nudge in favor of a better redirect.

If That's What She Said is it's own trope, I think we should lump it in.

Alright, should we rename it now? Lampshaded Double Entendre is the clear winner, plus we really need to get this over with.

I'm worried about the name sounding The Same But More Specific. Is that a dealbreaker?

[up]I don't think that sounding The Same But More Specific is a problem with a rename.

It isn't. All that matters is getting rid of Nudge Nudge.

Alright, the page is moved. So what do we do with the old page now? I put it on the cut list just in case.

The winning option from the Page Action crowner was a Trope Transplant with a new article drafted to occupy the old Wiki Word ... however, the old Wiki Word is also a line-of-dialogue Stock Phrase...

Eddie directly said that that was not an option.

I've seen this potholed in contexts that aren't even sexual at all. o.o

^^ That was alo the only crowner option in the green. The runner-up was "Permanent Redlink Club" but that was an even 50/50 margin.

Is there any way to program the site to seek out anywhere "If You Know What I Mean" was typed and automatically replace it with "Lampshaded Double Entendre"? Sure, non-sexual potholing to it won't make sense, but it was misuse to begin with.

Also, it seems I can't vote in the crowner anymore; is it supposed to be that way?

That's usually caused by a mod locking the crowner, but that does not appear to be the case here.
