I wonder if they will retire the character of Adam West, in honor of Adam West's passing.

They should really have a sendoff episode. Mayor West always made me laugh the most out of everyone and he deserves a finale.

The plot could involve Adam losing his voice so he can't talk.

Either kill him off, or make him mute.

Tragic to hear, he was one of the lingering good elements of Family Guy. Hell Seth should have made a duo show with him and Patrick Stewart, it would have been a riot.

Surprised to know he was 88 though, his voice was quite strong for someone that age.

I think the writers shouldn't use Adam anymore, because he was one of the few good characters of the show. We don't need him ruined, too.

Anyway, I've been watching the latest season of Family Guy & it isn't that bad (it's meh) , I do have a bit of a rant here, however.

As much as I can't stand Lois as a character, I can see why she's such a bitch. I mean, I probably would be a bitch too if the family dog kept trying to force himself on me sexually (despite the fact that I'm a married woman), my father was a controlling rich asshole, & I was married to a man with a pea for a brain, got me & my family members injured many times, & was a Manchild.

I tolerated the Joyce Kinney payback she got & the beating she got from the kids at the store, but the scene when she was groped by Brian in her sleep was so gross & illegal (I cringed). I would have beat Brian's ass for that if I was Peter too. I saw the clip on You Tube & everyone was laughing, but this shit wasn't funny. It's rape & Brian should have been arrested for it. I know it's just a cartoon, but I had to let it out lmao.

I like the times when the show gets too "real" (like when Lois has to take the family to the mall for last minute Christmas shopping on THE DAY OF Christmas because they screwed everything up and she retreats to sit in the display car and cries to herself), because it acknowledges that the characters have become hell. :D

Oh gosh, in my opinion modern Peter and Brian are some of the worst characters around. They are both bad fathers, repeat sex offenders, hurt other people around them with no consideration for anyone but themselves, etc. You know Brian used to be smarter and more moral than Peter, but now they are not so different from each other and I now regret that he wasn't truly Killed Off for Real and we could have had a better character like Vito replace him.

[up] I actually enjoyed Peter & Brian in the pre-cancellation seasons. However, the only time I sympathized with Brian was in a scene with a special needs kids who constantly stroked him to the point that Brian's last instinct was to bite him.

Yeah, pre-cancellation they had redeeming factors, but nowadays they are truly some of the most horrendous characters around.

[up][up][up]You just described basically everyone on this show now.

I mean, I don't usually like saying this, but you're just repeating things that have been said a million times already.

One complaint I don't like about Meg's character is how people complain about how desperate she is to be popular. Look at it this way: would you want to be a needy girl everyone hated and picked on? NOPE.

In this case, with all the abuse she's been through it's no wonder she craves any type of attention. sad

[up] Hey yandere tendencies are realistic, considering all she receives is hate & then doesn't know how to act when people act nice to her.

Yeah, if this was the real world the poor girl would need all the therapy she could get. And to heck with that episode "Seashell Party", because no one should stay in an abusive situation just for their abuser's benefit.

I was gonna mention "Seashell Party", which ended with Meg accepting that, after chewing out her family for being horrible people, she was talked into thinking SHE was the problem and that she's fine being abused. I literally yelled at the screen.

In more of a slap in the face that they had the nerve for the next episode to make "Story of Brenda Q", which is about getting a person out of an abusive relationship. This was the most disgusting case of Protagonist-Centered Morality I have ever seen in fiction. It's bad for Jeff to abuse Brenda, but you allow poor Meg to be so misused by everyone in order to get out cruel laughs.

[up][up]That's not what happened. She knows they're all terrible, but if they don't have her to convince themselves they're at least better than someone else, they just turn on each other and become even worse. She decides to lie and say it was all her fault, because if she feels bad they won't have to. No one talked her into it.

Now, that just carries with it a bunch of different problems, but these things should still be reported accurately.

I know most of you don't like the show anymore, but for those who still like/watch FG, here's a preview of the new season. Every single scenes hit except for a few misses. But that last scene, was just awesome! Meg fans should see this, b/c this is a step up to her character.

That was glorious. If Family Guy keeps that kind of thing up, it'll be like a brutal adult Gumball show.

Oh dang it. And now I actually don't remember which video it was. And now I want to watch it again. :(

[down] That.

Apparently the episode is "Emmy-Winning Episode" and Modern Family was just one of several targets.

It was called modern Family Guy. A parody of Emmy bait shows.

In this new ep, Brian makes an unsavory tweet, and now the butthurt mob of Social Justice Windbags are angry, and the rest of the family is feeling the heat. So they force him to move out.

And my dwindling respect for Quagmire shrinks even more. Who the hell is he to tell Peter "I told you about Brian." Such a piece of garbage, y'know?

The way Meg and Chris beat down those trashbags at school was still awesome.
