That was me last fall, I had a really bad cold that lingered for weeks, while I was trying to take multivariable calculus. Try tea with lemon and honey, honey's really good on sore throats.
"Jack, you have debauched my sloth."
I'll definitely try that. Thanks!
Wolf: Well, Chris is pretty much done with the Terra Novans and Samuel. Why not?
Still working on posts.
Allow me to rephrase my last post:
I think I'll be writing three sentences in Frontier then passing out on my bed now.
I'm sort of awake now, but I don't know if it'll last. I'll do what I can though.
the color todaySo, how close are people to finishing their plots for this day in Capital? I'd like to get on with wrapping it up, but I'm not sure what's left to do in my plot until the next in-thread day starts.
Also, has anyone had any ideas about what to replace it with?
Could someone be kind enough to explain exactly what you do in the Frontier thread? Because I'm so confused.
The platypus is my spirit animal. It's basically a role playing thread of sorts, where people take turns to describe their character's actions and how they react to each other. "Character Capital" is the second thread of that nature that's currently running.
The general idea behind these threads is to help people flesh out characters that they're developing for other projects, by letting them react to unexpected situations and whatnot.
My phone is being derpy, but someone else can hopefully give you a link to the CDT description/rules page. You could also ask someone in this thread for a summary of what's happened in the Frontier thread if you don't feel like reading through it all.
Still a great "screw depression" song even after seven years. And all are welcome here!
Here's that link
Sorry that I still haven't posted for Frontier yet. I'm trying, but I've got deadlines creeping in on me, and what I've written so far has taken an unusually long time to produce.
As for now, I think I'm going to go ahead and put a brief hold on that. I've got a midterm later this afternoon—one I'm not too concerned about—that I'd like to do a bit of studying for. I've also got a midterm tomorrow and some math homework due by midnight tonight, so yeah, my mind is a bit distracted, and I think I've just got to address these things right now and write later. Sorry again. Stuff will clear up pretty soon.

Take your time.
Also, I did PM a mod last night about stickying Frontier, but they told me that there are currently some issues and pinning a thread post currently isn't working, so it might be a while.
Back from vacation. We decided not to go camping cause we were too exhausted from Disneyland. Posted in Frontier. Will post in Capital later, there is a lot that Kyana needs to respond to. o.o lol
"Can you imagine an imaginary menagerie manager imagining managing an imaginary menagerie?"Austin Hinton, if you could, please try to post all out-of-character questions in this thread. That way we can keep the active thread all neat and tidy, and won't have a mix of actual CDT stuff going on between questions and discussions from us tropers.
the color todaySorry. I didn't know! :,(
The platypus is my spirit animal.Well now you know, and knowing is half the battle!
the color todayLol. And the other half is fighting it! :)

The platypus is my spirit animal.Anyway, would someone be nice enough to address Austin Hinton's request?
I'd try to throw something together, but I really should be either studying or writing a post. Right now it's the former.

the color todayI started to but I got bogged down trying to work out where everyone was.
We really need to do something about making note of where everyone's characters are in a central place where they can be checked by newcomers and existing writers alike.

Have no fear, nrjxll is here! I'm going to try and read through the entire thread tonight so I can get working on making some kind of list (since I can't actually post in it and I'm still waiting for an answer about Capital).
I've made a start on putting location information under the Active Troper Character folder on the Frontier page and moved some people into place.
If people could move their characters into relevant places (making relevant places as required) and move them about as the plot demands, it would make it all a lot easier.
If no one likes how I've done it, I'll move everything back into the big hodge-podge of names.
Thank you, all of you! :)
P.s. How dose my character join in? Are non-humans allowed?

The platypus is my spirit animal.Basically pick a location that seems interesting and have your character turn up there.
A number of characters already in the story are non-human - read the character descriptions on the thread's page and you'll see that.
If you don't know where the characters you want yours to interact with are, try reading the last couple of pages of the Frontier thread or post here asking the relevant troper (name mentioned beside the character name on the thread page page) where their character(s) is/are.
It's then advisable to put a link to your initial post introducing your character(s) in the thread page under Active Troper Characters so that people can quickly find the initial descriptions.
If you look at some of the introductory posts (follow the linked character names on the thread page), you will see how others have introduced their characters to the thread.

Partially updated the page for the group my characters are in. I think Hana has left the group, and I'd prefer to let daird and Tera Chimera put up their own character entries.
Thank you all for the get well comments, guys!
Hope you feel better.
That sounds nice but sadly I am not 21 yet so no whiskey for me lol.
