Superpowers and the like seemingly draw energy out of nothing. However if the super person in question stops focusing or dies, anything they used their powers to support stops and disappears. Why?
Because in order to stop an energy imbalance, the energy that came from nothing has to return to nothing eventually. This means while there is a slight burst where energy comes from nothing; it eventually evens out, meaning the net/average energy remains the same. Sorta like quantum tunneling, if I haven’t got my physics all wrong.
