I support a merge under Tropical Epilogue or at least a rename of Perpetual Tourist since it brings to mind for me a character who is constantly traveling around for fun rather than one who settles down in a tropical region because he or she has become an outcast and such.

I'm not too worried about disrupting things here. :)
Agree that Tropical Epilogue is the better name.
Speaking words of fandom: let it squee, let it squee.Yep, merge under Tropical Epilogue.
"You want to see how a human dies? At ramming speed." - Emily Wong.I agree with merging.
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight! These are both still the same duplicated unhealthy trope. I'm setting up a crowner to merge.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickIs one week long enough for a crowner to run?
I've copied over the tropes which apply to Tropical Epilogue as it's currently described, and it's pretty much all of them. Perhaps the description doesn't need changing after all.
Yes it is, though I'd prefer a few more votes.

Support Gravitaz on Kickstarter!Much better. Calling it.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickSo what's left to be done? All the examples have been copied over, and relevant bits of the description. Shall I just turn Perpetual Tourist into a redirect?
Yep, that's the last thing left to do.
EDIT: And I did it, so this can be locked.

Crown Description:
The trope in question is an epilogue that shows the characters on a beach in the sun on a tropical island sipping drinks.
They both describe pretty much the same situation (a person retiring in tropical luxury) and share a lot of the same examples.
Perpetual Tourist is the older trope (and thus has more inbound links), focuses on the character himself, and has a slightly longer description.
Tropical Epilogue is one I launched late last year, and focuses on the scene used as, well, an epilogue - a brief Where Are They Now scene at the end of the work.
Despite ostensibly being a character trope, nearly all the examples of the former appear at the end of their respective works; they're all listed on the latter page; and the latter page has a lot more examples besides. Finally, the former's name suggests something more like Walking the Earth (I've already deleted one example that seemed to think it did).
I suggest making Perpetual Tourist a redirect to Tropical Epilogue, and possibly expanding the latter's description a bit. I realise that could be seen as prejudice towards "my" trope, though.
