I've discovered Wicked223 on Reddit.
Incidentally, I am also on Reddit, same screen name. In fact, I think most Black Humors on the internet are me, though definitely not all of them.
I'm convinced that our modern day analogues to ancient scholars are comedians. -0dd1Not Troper related, but a few years ago I got involved with an online browser game called Star Pirates, and joined a fleet devoted to the webcomic Starslip.
The fleet put up an IRC channel, which had about half a dozen active regulars. I friended a few of them on Facebook.
Then I was looking at a little app that showed all the connections between your Facebook friends, and found that there was one connection between my Star Pirates friends and my school friends.
It turned out that one guy, whom I knew had gone to my school, had gone to my campus church and was great friends with a bunch of guys from that church that I knew, and in fact, lived with.
Until Iverum came out to see if he wanted to sublet my apartment last summer, that was the only time I ever met someone I knew from online in meatspace.
