There's stuff going on at the Pokéringer. The three Genies have been trolling the contestants all around. Two or three new players have joined. Team Magma has finally gathered evidence of a connection between the weather machines and "possibly" Charon. Every is still tasked with tagging Tagg, not to mention fetching the Pokéringer prize for the Glory of Team Aqua.

Soon-ish plans include a visit to LaRousse City and more Gym Battles.

OK, since some of us are going to Sinnoh for an invasion of Spiritombs, mages, zombies and what not in the region, and save the world from destruction, hecatomb and oblivion, the idea is that some of us who are not getting anywhere near all of that and want to play a calmer, looser plot are not left without anything to do (as has happened with tournament arcs, saving the world battles and all that).

To that end, I'm asking to more-or-less GM a Johto arc, concurrent to Keystone Arc. It will be mostly an exploratory, episodic arc for people who want to have something to do, and at the same time a great opportunity, I think, for us to practice how to design and play out sideline arcs, a skill that we seem to be sorely lacking at *points at current Pokéringer*.

The arc proper would begin some time before Keystone Arc begins, and will be focused mostly on actually getting to play out the worldbuilding we have discussed for Johto, teams, families, etc. There will be no world-ending threat, nor will any encompassing threat directly affect Johto*

. At worst we'll be facing sunburn taxes Hoppips!

Some of the ideas I have for that arc include but are not limited to:

• Helping build better docks or something at Rt.32, making use of the anime town of Bloomingvale.
• Getting rid of a pesky Makuhita in the Union Cave (likely interesting to Rex).
• Carrying some sort of lore-protecting miniplot in the Blue Moon Falls (likely interesting to Tangent).
• Probably visit Lake's family (likely interesting to Luke).
• Getting to finally visit Calino's Herb Trade Shop.
• Getting to study a Hoppip migration (probably interesting to any of the PEFE-ers?).
• Carrying out a Pokéringer competition somewhere, probably in Violet City.
• Probably visiting one or two Legendary friends in Greenfield (Unown?, likely interesting to Every).
• Visiting characters's families in Johto?

If needed be, the plot can be extended to nearby / easily reachable locations such as Celaffron via the Magnet Train. Also, between RL and RP planning, it should be possible to play most scenarios with a floating timeline and many conveniences.

The two of them together are based on Tokyo, so they're basically the same city, but not. Sort of like Minneapolis and St. Paul.
