But I managed to whip the draft up amidst a basktball game! First, to state the obvious: IF YOU ARE AVOIDING SPOILERS DO NOT READ THIS DOCUMENT UNTIL YOU HAVE BEATEN SUN OR MOON AND ITS MAIN POSTGAME SIDEQUEST. If you aren't avoiding spoilers, whatever floats your goat.

But with that warning in mind, here's the document draft. Public commenting is on, so feel free to leave suggestions as long as no in-depth cementing of anything occurs. If you'd rather drop comments outside of Google docs, punt 'em to me.

A Special Kinda Run

I've been tossing around the idea for a while, but I've officially made the first post for my new Pokemon Moon Ludmilla Run, found here. WARNING: UNMARKED SPOILERS.

While I've barely started, it feels like this'll be a whole lot of fun - be sure to toss in whatever thoughts/theories you have in the thread, I don't mind.

Well, the run is going to be as close to the current most likely condition Ludmilla will be when the team eventually gets to Alola. The two egg Pokemon are the eggs that Ren gave her at Thanksgiving.

However as I say that I have one slot in my team what I have no idea what I'll actually fill it with. I might take you up on that offer come around the point I'm doing the second island.

Corvus' Variable Team Size Egg Run

So, Sun/Moon's story was fun enough I want to play it again, probably after Bank updates, and maybe this time do so in English so I can catch some of the more Hawaiian phrases that didn't seem to be in the German or Spanish versions. And I thought I might as well do it as an Egg Run~

So, what do I mean by Variable Team Size? I mean don't worry about having exactly 6 people send eggs. Playing both games with a rotating team of 9 was pretty fun and makes me want to try again. So, my team size will be equal to however many people donate eggs (plus maybe my starter to pad things out, especially if I get 6 or fewer donors.)

For egg species, I won't be starting until sometime after Bank gets updated, so it'd be nice to get some eggs from mons not in the Alola Dex, but otherwise, my only preference is not to repeat species between eggs and to hopefully not repeat mons I've already used on Alola Teams, meaning I'd prefer the eggs not be of Magnemite, Cubone, Misdreavus, Sableye, Snorunt, Cottonee, Pancham, Phantump, Rowlet, Litten, Crabrawler, Cutiefly, Mareanie, Stufful, Palossand, Bruxish, Mimikyu, or Dhelmise. Other than them, anything's fair game.

I'll probably repost this around when Bank comes out and I'm ready to start the run, but in the meantime, feel free to add stuff~

I wouldn't mind a page for Egg Runs, explaining what they are, what docs we have for them, that sorta thing. Would be nice to have as an archive, too.

Umbra's Pokemon Sun Meme Team Egg Run!

So, when the games were first approaching release I was determined to do a normal run on Sun and a meme-themed run on Moon. When circumstances got me to play Moon first, I simply flip-flopped which version would have which team.

...Then as I played Moon I realized a lot of the new Pokemon and Alolan variations who were candidates for the meme team were available too late in the game for my liking, too hard to obtain for my liking, or both.

So I decided to have you guys provide 2/3rds of my meme team for me once Bank updates! Here are the details:

• I'm going to be going with a starter Litten named Steely Dan because Jojo memes, and have a certain out-of-RP friend donate a Wimpod egg to be named Anchor Arms because that meme's its evolutionary line in a nutshell. The rest... is up to you all!

• See, I'm not picking the nicknames this time around - you guys are right in the egg run doc! However the nicknames must be based on some sort of internet meme (or a fictional character who is a Fountain of Memes) relevant to your donated Pokemon of choice's evolutionary line.

• What I DON'T want:
  • Any Pokemon in the Alola Pokedex unless it is not obtainable until Poni Island/the postgame.

  • Any other Fire, Dark, Bug, or Water types - I want as much type variety as possible.

  • Any meme nicknames that reference a meme bashing or insulting any person/character/thing/place/etc. Note I may have to spoil myself for this run to make sure none of you step on my triggers.

  • Any mons that would be taboo in the G7 egg run doc base rules.

But other than that, toss me whatever! I look forward to seeing what I get!

since it doesn't evolve until you can reach a certain point in the game, would grubbin be off-limits?

Plus it's in the Alola dex, a Bug type, and obtainable early on so yeah.

I know that feel, I hadn't played anything since RSE (and Conquest) until a couple of months ago. Haven't gotten far in Moon yet either

Should Wimpod and the existence of Alolan forms be spoiler tagged or are things more lax now?

Hmmmmm... Guys, should new mons and such be un-spoilermarked at this point? Zeal has a point.

I assume anyone who wanted to play it has already, or looked up a LP. I don't see the harm in unspoiling stuff

There'd still be no story spoilers outside of designated zones, though.

Oh, no, I meant, they were unspoiled in your original post, and was wondering if that was something that needed to be fixed or if I missed a change or something. ^^;

Are the individual island names also part of the spoiler policy? If so, Poni Island would be, too, I think? I don't know, sorry.

I'd suggest keeping it still in spoiler-tags if one can remember to do so, but not necessarily having to backpedal and edit if someone accidentally mentions them outside of spoilers.

Ah, whoops, I forgot to spoiler those. What Bitters said, then.

Also, I'm bored and have really been itching to give Locke a test run, so can anyone help me do so on the second forum or something?
