Not really... Why would it be amusing?
I should have noticed it earlier that Ryuuko was voiced by the same person who voiced Kyubey...
Now I just kind of feel creeped out while watching Ryuuko's scenes.
Erio was so cute this episode...
Tumblr here.^What. Really? Damn.
It's been fun.Emiri Katou usually voices characters that aren't like Kyubey.
If people learned from their mistakes, there wouldn't be this thing called bad habits.^Yeah, I remember reading that she was seriously traumatized by voicing Kyubey.
It's been fun.I don't really think it was that bad considering how the show went on anyway.
Not sure when this picture was taken too. If it was after she cried well...she feels better I guess.◊

If people learned from their mistakes, there wouldn't be this thing called bad habits.New episode is up. I guess it has now been officially cemented in my mind that I like Ryuuko way more then Erio.
Not that I'm completely going to ignore Erio. I wonder just what she DID to get that terrible reputation in a school where there are people like Ryuuko and Meakawa running around. Did she bring a live cow to eat during math class or something?
We saw a glimpse of something, but its hard to tell just what she was doing.
I'm really interested in what Maekawa is doing. She clearly knows Meme (I'm guessing that Meme is a regular at the Maekawa's bar), and she asked Maekawa to go do something for her.
Also Maekawa seemed to remove herself from romantic competition here. Curious.
Nice to see Ryuuko and Maekawa get some development. On the other hand, Erio is going to need some more for me to care about her. They've somehow made her just weird enough to be unrelatable, but not weird enough to be entertaining
Isn't that kinda the idea though?
She's...weird. And people react to her the way they do because she's, well, weird.
Now, personally I like her a lot, but she's definitely very, very strange.
Maybe that's the point? It would be odd if she were only Ryuuko-level quirky and still be this hated everywhere. Even Makoto said that he's only in it because she's his cousin.
Ninja'd.
I also just got the Earthbound reference.

Yeah. That's the thing; Erio's not a Manic Pixie Dream Girl, she's legitimately damaged. She's weird in a nonappealing way, and that makes her more interesting (in my opinion, anyway) than any number of 'quirky' female protagonists. Like, I like Ryuuko and Maekawa well enough, but their own brands of strange play off of each other's and off of Erio's, so a balance is reached.
It's been fun.I like Erio. I admit I liked her more in a futon voice but I still like her a lot.
The cuteness just makes me want to hug her.
If people learned from their mistakes, there wouldn't be this thing called bad habits.I'm kind of in two minds. It really depends on where they go with it. She could be very interesting or it could be very bad.
"No, the Singularity will not happen. Computation is hard." -Happy Ent>"Well, well. Should I be a 179.9 centimeter Mr. Pluto for you?"
Whoah, wtf? Was Maekawa really that huge? Did they call attention to it before and I just completely missed it?
Please be gentle with me.Is there something weird about that when it has been explicitly stated she is taller than usual to the extent of being like over a head taller than Makoto?
If people learned from their mistakes, there wouldn't be this thing called bad habits.Yeah, Maekawa's height hasn't been mentioned because its BLISTERINGLY OBVIOUS
Heh, I honestly hadn't noticed it before this episode. I suppose it comes from assuming Makoto was shorter than average for his Cute Shotaro Boy looks.
Please be gentle with me.Yeah, the entire thing is oddly scaled so it looks like everone is sort rather than M Aekawa being tall (compared to eg. furniture)
What the hell did Meme tell Maekawa though?
"No, the Singularity will not happen. Computation is hard." -Happy EntHmm. Judging from Maekawa's reaction, probably about Ryuko's crush on Makoto.
They don't look short to me...◊

If people learned from their mistakes, there wouldn't be this thing called bad habits.
Even though I brought it up, Maekawa really is goddamn huge.
^And very flexible, it seems. Going into a full-on fold like that is impressive.
And so, looks like next episode we get to see how Makoto plans to resolve (or maybe just defuse) this situation. I really felt sorry for him being tossed back and forth by all three of the weird girls in his life...
It's been fun.Huh, you're right. I can only reach my knees.
If people learned from their mistakes, there wouldn't be this thing called bad habits.
...does anyone else think it would be amusing if the old woman who gives Erio a job looked only a little older than Meme?
