They buckle like the cowardly bullies they are.
"I agree, if people don't want to work for a particular business because they are anti-union they should be free to not work there. But don't complain when you can't find a job."
Why do you call revoking all worker's rights "freedom"?

Well, izumoshep seems completely unaware at how unions pulled us out of the worst parts of the Industrial Revolution. Child labourers getting beaten for screwing up. Oh, you lost your arm because of our dangerous machine? You're fired, you can't do the job anymore. And so on.
As for me, I'm union suspicious. They were (And are) a good thing for stripping the power from the businesses that heap all sorts of abuse upon them. Nowadays, though, thanks to government regulations and labour laws, I suspect most of them of encouraging their employees not to work, of carrying the abuse the other way. And, as mentioned, making it hard to fire employees, especially when one takes every advantage they can. Oh, I've heard stories of people in unions abusing the system like crazy. Taking every paid day off they can and then some, or claiming they "can't work" due to some ridiculous notion and getting severance.
Still, I'm not outright anti-union. There's still a few businesses out there looking to stomp all over their workers.
Don't take life too seriously. It's only a temporary situation.Provide some evidence rather than rhetoric.

"Si vis pacem, para bellum""Maybe you should stop being a prick towards those who provide most of the jobs in most countries."
You have a bizarre double standard here.
"Had Mother Nature been a real parent, she would have been in jail for child abuse and murder." -Nick BostromI'm not bad mouthing business, thus no double standard.
"Si vis pacem, para bellum"what are you trying to say? Businesses provide jobs so we should be grateful they want to take our rights away?
Is using "Julian Assange is a Hillary butt plug" an acceptable signature quote?Unions did what they came to do: improve the workplace and give employees a fair deal. Now there's laws for that. Unions are just milking the system for all its worth and dragging down every company it can. Example: British Airways. Great idea, union, strike for higher pay while the airline is 1) barely staying in business and 2) having to cancel most of its flights because of volcano ash and losing more money than it can afford to. I'm sure that'll really help it stay in business and keep you your jobs.
i. hear. a. sound.Pretty much.

Yes I'm a troll because I believe business should be free to hire and fire who ever they want.
And no, my signature doesn't translate into that.

Well, this thread turned ugly fast.
I'm going to lock it.
If someone wants to start another one and the rest of you can keep it civil, not get personal, and refrain from simply spouting slogans and flamebait, you can try it again.

...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.
And what happens when/if everyone walks out of their jobs?
What happens to the businesses when no-one is making their things, do they trade in imagination?
