What a terribly unfair matchup! Tekken is overpowered, because of their broken sidestep ability!
Joking aside, what system should we expect this?
That wasn't the Tekken Gameplay version, was it?
But yeah, I wonder how the Tekken fighters translate, since they're more of a button press string based fighter.
Even better, I wonder how the Street Fighters translate into Tekken, seeing how it's joystick movements and precise button presses etc.
ALL CREATURE WILL DIE AND ALL THE THINGS WILL BE BROKEN. THAT'S THE LAW OF SAMURAI.Namco's version is Tekken X Street Fighter.
Well, Street fighter has been visiting the third plane before, in Street Fighter EX. But it seems that they will be going with a Tatsunokovs Capcom setup for this one: 2D tag team battles in teams of 2.
That was definitely the Street Fighter gameplay. Namco hasn't revealed anything from their side of the crossover yet aside from a half image of Ryu in Tekken's more realistic stlye.
Well, it is supposed to be running on the Tekken 6 engine, so it will probably be a big difference compared to this game.
So, who would win in a fight? Bob or Rufus?
My guess is neither. The fight will be cancelled due to interfering gravitational pull.
PC version confirmed.
Jonah FalconThe tag system looks like Tekken Tag 2's a little more than that Tatsunoko game.
Do all the females striper pose before they pull of a special in Street Fighter 4?
Sweet. Hope the minimum specs aren't too much for my laptop to handle. Of course, if they ever go for a 3DS release, I'll be doing a greater happy chicken dance.
Everyone poses while performing an ultra. Not every female does a typical stripper pose, though.
A interview video!

A good writer puts in a lot of details in there story. But a great one gets a story from a single detail.Oh my God. This is a first-day buy.
THAT STAGE HAS DINOSAURS ON IT. DINOSAURS.
Yeah. I'm buying this. I'm buying this now. I don't care if it's not out yet. I'm going and picking up a copy and playing it right now. YOU CAN'T STOP ME! NO LAW OF CAUSALITY IN THE UNIVERSE CAN STOP ME!
Anyways, looks tight. Real tight. But I do hope it doesn't end up being "The Cast Of Street Fighter IV vs Tekken."
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Street Fighter x Tekken or Tekken x Street Fighter which will be superior. All I know is that I'm getting both
It probably depends on what kind of game you like more.
^^I agree, although seeing one or two more people from IV would be nice. Given the more physical-oriented aspect I'm getting from the footage, Hakan or Fuerte would work well.
From other series, I think Dudley, maybe the Hong Kong twins, and Necro would work from III, and I don't know a lot about Alpha but R. Mika looks like she'd be a good fit.
Nothing would make me happier than seeing Q in a fighting game again, and his brutal as hell style fits Tekken like a glove (One of his super moves is punching the opponent in the gut and then doing a double backhand to send them rocketing off the ground and into the air. WANT.).
But he was low-tier, so not many others want to see him. :(
It's kinda funny how Bob was beating up Ken; apparently, Rufus humiliating him wasn't enough already.

Fight. Struggle. Endure. Suffer. LIVE.Q I would love to see in another fighting game, especially maybe this one.
My wishlist for this game also includes Dee Jay, Rufus (against Bob), Zangief (if Kuma is in, Hugo if not), Makoto, Elena, Oro, maybe Sean, maybe Karin (just so I can finally see how she plays), maybe R. Mika (because she sounds like a fun character for this style, from what I hear about her)...
And, of course, Skullomania.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain. Is it just me, or did the Street Fighter cast get their asses kicked in the cinematic trailer?
Seriously, you don't fuck with Kazuya.
Fight. Struggle. Endure. Suffer. LIVE.I figured that out when he was tossed into a volcano and lived.
It's more frustrating waiting for the asskicking than the asskicking itself.Scardoll, there's a difference between Bob and Rufus: Bob was already an accomplished martial artist before he started bulk-training. As such, it would make more sense for Bob to kick Ken's ass than it would for Rufus to do it.
Long live Cinematech. FC:0259-0435-4987I wasn't saying that it was embarrassing because Rufus was a better fighter than Bob.
I was saying it was embarrassing because Ken has gotten beaten down by yet another spherical blob.
Fight. Struggle. Endure. Suffer. LIVE.I wonder how Christie and Eddie would translate into a 2.5D game like this? A lot of their mix ups are worthless without 3 dimensions to exploit them with.
Thread Hop - Something tells me this is just a set up for Capcom Vs. Namco like street fighter vs x-men was for Mv C.
Also anyone know the song in the background I want it? Never mind I found it Song: Honest Eyes By: Black Tide

Rarely active, try DA/Tumblr Avatar by pippanaffie.deviantart.com^ That reminds me. I had completely forgotten that in all likelihood we're going to be getting a Yoshimitsu in this game. Not my personal favorite Yoshimitsu, but a member of the same clan nonetheless.
If they come out with another Namco vs Capcom (a fighting game this time), I want Strider vs SC Yoshimitsu.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Damn Kazuya was badass. Ken and Ryu one after the other and still winning and using his forearm to block an evil Ryu Hadouken. The only thing I'm wondering is why did Nina have to run away ? Bathroom ?
The Captivate embargo ended today, and that means new info on this game.
