Can't wait for Aquaman to liberate the seafood restaurant. "To freedom, my brothers!"
Batman looks really sad in that drawing. So does Flash. Everyone else just looks kind of surprised. Other than Jason Momoa, who still looks like he's about to kick your ass, as always.
Maybe they do go full angst. Everyone is miserable, everything is depressing, everyone hates everything.
So you guys know how some producer or so for some of the DCEU was following John Cleese on Twitter?
John Cleese is now following Justice League and Ben Affleck on Twitter.
The likelihood of Cleese showing up in JL...rising.
...Granny Goodness?
The article mentioned Gordon Godfrey, which would be an interesting use of the character. Maybe everyone else is pro-League because they themselves got exhausted on the anti-Superman vendetta and he is the lone voice remaining of that crew.

Since twitter has yet to fail in predicting casting news, Geoff Johns recently followed Armie Hammer.
A bit of background: a few years ago (well more like a decade at this point) George Miller was set to direct a Justice League movie. His version of Batman was to be played by Armie Hammer.
"If you weren't so crazy I'd think you were insane."I could see Armie Hammer as Hal Jordan.
That's what the rumor mill is currently churning out, yes.
"If you weren't so crazy I'd think you were insane."I could see John Cleese as Desaad. They'll probably give him some civilian supporting role, though, if they give him anything at all.
Although I am still hoping they go with John Stewart, because Hal Jordan's already been done and he was always kind of the bland one.
Or, hell, let's bring in Guy Gardner.
I'm actually hoping they do Jessica Cruz. She adds diversity as a woman of color and her agoraphobia makes for an interesting and unique arc for a superhero.
I hope she shows up for the lanterns film but I wouldn't expect her in the first wave.
That said i like Cruz and i think she's a great example of adding diversity well.
Haven't they pretty much gone on the record as saying that the Green Lantern film is going to feature Hal Jordan and John Stewart as the leads?
I'm wondering now if the GL presence in Justice League might not be a GL council discussing the threats posed by Darkseid and Apokolips. That way they could cameo a lot of G Ls.
Not fully familiar with Cruz, but isn't her origin tied to the Crime Syndicate being introduced?
(V)(;,,;)(V)Yes before she was a Green Lantern she was Power Ring the Earth 3 version of Green Lantern.
The real power ring died so the Ring of Volthoom sought out a new host and because Jessica Cruz has anxiety it chose her. The Ring of Volthoom feeds on it's users fear slowly killing them.

Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre AdventureI'm okay with them using Hal Jordan if they focus on him being completely fearless but also totally imagination-free, as some of the comics do. I like John Stewart and I'd like to see him on the silver screen, but I almost feel like the Snyderverse's visual style would be better served by Kyle Rayner. He's already using the same basic version of Aquaman from that era in the comics.
That being said, I think he could do some interesting things with John Stewart's background as an architect. Seeing the inner construction of his mental constructs from the inside out, the sheer complexity of everything. That could be cool.

I'll take any lantern as long as it isn't Simon Baz.
Fuck that guy.
"If you weren't so crazy I'd think you were insane."What's wrong with Baz? Aside from using a gun.
(V)(;,,;)(V)...Why does he need a gun if he's the Green Lantern?
His ring some times stops working at inopportune times so he uses the gun in the instances the ring stops working.
His ring actually was sent to him because it re-calibrated right before it found a new user that wanted to be a Green Lantern; before that person had a chance to wield that ring it performed an update and than went to Simon Baz; the person it was suppose to choose is the person that is in the current story arc in Green Lanterns.
But starting with Green Lanterns he has been using his gun less and less; all of the constructs he creates are race cars and other vehicles.

Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre AdventureThe current book Green Lanterns stars Simon Baz and Jessica Cruz, who are both starting out as rookie Green Lanterns. Baz just got out from Guantanamo Bay and carries a gun, because he doesn't trust the Ring to work all the time, while Cruz had severe anxiety and had trouble creating even the most rudimentary construct from the Ring. Eventually, they began to get over their issues and work together better.
If you are asking yourselves "How the hell did the Rings choose them to overcome fear then?", Baz has been shown to use his Ring to cure a Red Lantern, while when Cruz finally overcame her anxiety and created a construct, it was a giant construct that saved the day. So they are really, really good at their jobs...when they overcome their own issues.

That's good, because "issues" like that kind of have a time-limit as far as story interest goes. After awhile they just become a gimmick. Good that they were allowed to develop.
There will be a scene where we see Clark talk to his dads while having his near death experience. Even funner if the Waynes pass on a message for their son.
Aquaman's release date has been pushed back a few months.
