Yes (Gumball popped him just for being annoying once in "The Void"), but then Gumball said they were planning to kill him, not just pop him again.

Of course, popping him at the end means the same thing either way. Nothing.

Yeah. It's just toon logic.

Tonight's episode was so loving and a bit of a wham. We meet Nicole's parents And, of course, they suck. And they don't even COME TO THE WEDDING!. Damn shame. Very touching episode about Richard and Nicole's origin.

Why do the Nicole-centric episodes crush my feels?

Seeing the beginning of her relationship with Richard was so sweet.

Nicole's dad looks like Grumpy Cat.

It was neat how they showed Nicole's Freudian Excuse. Gives more weight to that episode where she desperately tried to shape Gumball into a winner.

"The Vision" is a really dark episode.

A while ago Bocquelet mentioned on twitter that he imagine Richard and Nicole didn't get married until after Gumball was conceived. I didn't imagine that would be in the actual show!

That's really cool...Food Wars ensued.

So guys, I believe Nicole's maiden name was Senicourt instead of Semicourt judging from the cursive writing and Google searching.

I took a close look on an HD freeze frame and could say that's an 'm' or 'n'. "Senicourt" is still more likely just because that's a real name.

EDIT: It's "Senicourt". It's the maiden name of Ben Bocquelet's mother, who Nicole is named after.

So how about that episode? Thought it was hilarious. lol

..... that has to be probably one of my top ten favorite episodes ever. My god that ending was so touching, and BEAUTIFUL. It had no dialogue through than entire montage, and everything was friggin REAL. It really proves that these characters are developed, with conflicting feelings, and really shows off how incredibly Nicole's voice actor is! T His is one of the moments I love when watching cartoons because you forget that they're animated!!

I think he meant "The code".

The monent Anais came in & everything was revealed to have been in Gumball & Darwin's mind due to internet withdrawel made me burst out in made fucking laughter.

Seriously I almost fucking died cause it was so funny despite pretty much expecting it from the get go.

The Choices AND The Code - just two more examples (albeit in different ways) of why I enjoy this show so much, especially in its later season, where it really hits its stride for me.

Now, things start out rough & slow (unfortunately, IMHO.) in both episodes, but once they get going - without saying too much, they become High Tier examples of why I find this show so... On one end (The Choices), heartwarming; but on the other - (The Code) legitimately hilarious.

OK, so something I just noticed with The Scam: the song playing during the Ghostbusting sequence sounds a lot like I Want a New Drug by Huey Lewis and The News (which Ray Parker Jr. ripped off for the Ghostbusters theme).

I thought the same thing the first time I heard it. The other thought was "I can't parse any of these lyrics but 'How low would go?'"

An upcoming episode is getting an early airing at New York con, and it's about some kind of parody of Miracle Star, that Chinese commercial that plagiarized Gumball.

.... yikes. Don't do anything controversial, because Gumball is watching, and will include it in an episode!!!

If we learned anything from "The Test" (11-03-2016), while Gumball maybe a douchebag, an asshole, and a loser - at least he's likable. Any other show would have not done as good (or good at all) a job with this, to be honest (Futurama with Bender and Dan from Dan Vs. do come to mind, though of well - doing it right!).

Glad Tobias got his, too. Now he's a loser I can't stand much, honestly.

I was expecting Gumball unleashing his built-up bile on Tobias to involve a vocal tirade, but the actual result worked pretty well.
