I suddenly have the image of a Cthulhumanoid drinking heavily and speaking with a Scottish brogue. Now that is a funny image.

Just as humanity is utterly incapable of comprehending it, you could always make the Eldritch Abomination totally unable to grasp human culture. Our collective social norms and standards are just so alien to it, that its attempts at intimidation come off as hilarious. It does something unintentionally amusing, but does not understand the concept and ends up making itself look worse.

Essentially, make it The Unfunny on a cosmic scale.

I've written one or two comedic short stories about dark cults. If this guy somehow attracted an (unwanted) cult, you could potentially get alot out of his interactions with them or the activities and characters within the cult themselves.
