Why do you say that?
Long live Cinematech. FC:0259-0435-4987Ya, I love that dude and his electric tickle of doom. Especially when you're powered-up so that you can do it diagonally; that just ain't even fair. I'd be invincible if not for my crappy Xbox dpad screwing up my double-taps.
Except [condescending response follows]. Because [sarcasm here]. You do understand [snark], right? POTHOLE TO SARCASM MODEAny idea which character I should use for Mania difficulty? Shiva maybe?
And dear god, this game is ridiculously cheap. Abadede in particular does his dash attack before I even get a chance to react. I quit Mania at the last minute while on the last level because I wasn't going to make it with So R 2 Axel.
Don't Press Your Luck too many times in life. You'll just get whammied.Use Mr. X, definitely. If you're ever screwed, stand still in the top left corner and spam the standing special until everything is dead.
Also, Abadede is easier than you'd think. Goad him into dashing at you, double tap up or down to dodge, then when he's busy posing, hit him with a Double Tap Attack move or a special, repeat.
Je Suis "Aware"No he's right, on Mania Abadede is RIDICULOUS. He's twice as fast as he is in normal/hard, making his uppercut a real pain to goad since it becomes a lot more difficult to dodge. His throw seems to beat out a lot of close range attacks and the guy overall is probably one of the hardest bosses in the game, if not the hardest. He's one of the few bosses that when playing on that route got a noticeable buff.

Usually, I just approach enemies from below/above as I walk vertically so I can grab them and smash them. It works most of the time. Of course if they are hyper and run in circle around you....yeah
Remember, these idiots drive, fuck, and vote. Not always in that order.Especially the ninjas and jetpack assholes,
Oh no, what's worse are the ninjas that DON'T FALL DOWN when you toss them or try to knock them off their ass! They ALWAYS show up when there are pits just spite you so you can't knock them into the hole!
Remember, these idiots drive, fuck, and vote. Not always in that order.Oh yeah and "Ninpo Kagebushin!"
Tossers.
They're more like martial artists rather than ninja but yeah they're annoying, especially when two of them get on either side at once and spam their high kick over and over, it's really hard to get out of.
The SOR 1 whip ladies are irritating too, particularly in groups of other baddies.
You've got an ear for scratchy sega genesis sound bytes, it seems.
What the hell is So R 2 Skate saying during his gauge-eating blitz?
GO EAT EAT EAT!
I've been trying to figure it out for years :P

''Stomp- in' feet!'
Eat- my- heat!
Bounce- skeet- skeet!
Those guys who are shirtless with orange/yellow/purple hair are also annoying cause they mostly block everything you throw at them

Remember, these idiots drive, fuck, and vote. Not always in that order.Really? I find the remake of them to be a lot harder. Maybe it's just me. Vulture in the Streets of Rage 2 path in stage 8 in the remake is a pain in the ass since he either blocks or kicks you down.
Remember, these idiots drive, fuck, and vote. Not always in that order.I meant the orange hair guys were easier, not blocking baddies in general. For the most part they're tougher.
"Hoop TV!"
Long live Cinematech. FC:0259-0435-4987Skate's clearly saying "Corkscrew kick!". I'm good, y'all.
No I knew what you meant. The orange haired guys in the original version seemed easier to attack for me while the remake version has them more aggressive.
Remember, these idiots drive, fuck, and vote. Not always in that order.Streets of Rage3 and not Bare Knuckle3, right? Ah I guess we just deal with them differently then.
Ah, yeah there's that. But yeah I mean the non japanese version since that's the one I'm more familiar with, though I do know about its Difficulty by Region
Remember, these idiots drive, fuck, and vote. Not always in that order.I imagine the US game's quite unbearable on the hardest difficulty.
Probably so.
Mania has too much Fake Difficulty for me. Even with Fishing for Mooks, there's always some cheap enemy that'll throw you and you're forced to fight off craploads of enemies. There's a line between challenging and cheap, and this just crossed it. I'm laying off of it until I get Shiva.
Don't Press Your Luck too many times in life. You'll just get whammied.
Ugh Dr. Zan.
I think he might be my least favorite playable character of all.
